1. Ultra violet protection: Test on lenses with coating used by KODAK City (AR 1.56 index with UV420), with transmittance measurements done on 45 plano lenses, MR8 UV420 done on feasibility lenses. Results show 0.7% transmittance when tested with T 380-415nm, and 66% transmittance when tested with T 415-445nm
2. Blue-violet light is between 400-455nm as stated by ISO TR 20772:2018.
3. Night glare reduction: Comparative tests between lenses with anti-reflective coating used by KODAK City 1.56 FSV against KODAK 1.56 Clear FSV with standard HMC, with measurements done at 15 degrees with lenses representative of the production. Result shows up to 30% less reflection for night conditions, and 50% less reflection for day conditions for City lens versus standard AR lens, Essilor Quality Control 2018.
