🌱 **Teachers never stop learning!**

Today, our educators from ABC Tot attended the workshop, **“Is Your Child Developing Differently?”**

Through discussions, case studies and hands-on demonstrations, we learned new ways to understand and support children with different developmental needs.

We “graduated” again today—and we’re ready to support our children even better next week! 🎓💪🧡💙

🥔 **This Week’s Collaborative Cooking: Crispy Potato Balls!** 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

This week, our ABC Tot children will work together to make their very own **Crispy Potato Balls**! 🧡

Collaborative Cooking is more than preparing food. As the children mash, mix, shape and coat the potato balls together, they will practise:

🤝 Teamwork and communication
✋ Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
🔢 Counting and measuring
🔬 Observing different textures and changes
🌱 Patience, independence and responsibility
⭐ Confidence in creating something by themselves

Through cooking, children learn to share responsibilities, follow instructions, take turns and help their friends—all while having plenty of fun!

Stay tuned for the delicious little creations your child will proudly bring home! 😋

We can promise they were crispy when they came out of the pan… but whether they are still crispy by pickup time, we cannot guarantee! 😂

*All cooking activities are conducted with teacher supervision.*

🌙 Blackout?! 😱

Don’t worry—the lights went out, but our children’s imaginations lit up! ✨

On the first day of our September School Holiday, our little ones stepped into “Dark Mode” to catch the moon, create their own beautiful glowing lanterns, and proudly join a magical lantern parade around the school. 🏮💫

Who knew learning in the dark could be this much fun? 🧡💙

At ABC Tot, even the darkest room can become a place filled with wonder, creativity and happy childhood memories. ✨

🌤️ A Little Health Reminder from ABC Tot 🧡💙

With the recent changing weather and occasional haze, it’s always good to pay a little extra attention to our children’s health. 🥰

Influenza A can spread easily, especially among young children as their immune systems are still developing.

A few little reminders for Mummies & Daddies 💕
🧼 Wash hands regularly
😷 Avoid crowded places when possible
🥤 Drink plenty of water
🥗 Eat well and get enough rest
🏠 If your little one is feeling unwell, let them rest at home and recover fully

Do keep an eye out for symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose and body aches too.

Little precautions can make a big difference. ❤️
Stay healthy, everyone!

🚪 "Knock knock..." ✨
Our Busy Tot children (3yo) are learning that before entering a room, we:

👊 Knock on the door
😊 Wait patiently
🚶 Enter politely
🤫 Close the door softly

What may look like a simple classroom activity is actually helping children develop important social skills, respect for others, and good daily habits.

Because growing up isn't only about learning letters and numbers — it's also about learning how to care for the people around us. ❤️
