Program Pendayaan Komuniti by Klinik Bergerak Si Elly
"Menyantuni Golongan Tersisih"

The Department of Physical Rehabilitation Sciences, Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences, is honoured to contribute to the Program Pendayaan Komuniti by Klinik Bergerak Si Elly: "Menyantuni Golongan Tersisih", a multidisciplinary community healthcare initiative dedicated to improving access to essential health services for underserved populations across the state of Pahang.

The programme, held at SK Sungai Panching Utara on 22 July 2026, brought together a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering comprehensive child healthcare services within the community. The initiative encompasses health screening, growth and developmental assessments, rehabilitation services, health education, and continuous monitoring, with the objective of enhancing children's health outcomes through early detection and timely intervention.

As part of the Kulliyyah's commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, Klinik Bergerak Si Elly serves as a sustainable platform for extending quality healthcare services beyond conventional clinical settings. The programme is specifically designed to address the healthcare needs of vulnerable and marginalized communities, including the B40, Asnaf, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Orang Asli, and refugee communities, ensuring equitable access to essential healthcare services.

The Department of Physical Rehabilitation Sciences extends its sincere appreciation to all organizing committees, collaborating partners, healthcare professionals, staff, and community members whose dedication and collective efforts contributed to the successful implementation of this meaningful initiative.

PHYSICAL HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAM AT CRYOVAC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD., KUANTAN

On 4 July 2026, our team successfully conducted a Physical Health Promotion Program at Cryovac (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Kuantan, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of physiotherapy in maintaining physical health and overall well-being.

The session provided employees with valuable insights into injury prevention, proper posture and body mechanics, ergonomic practices, and the benefits of staying physically active. Through interactive health education and practical demonstrations, participants gained practical knowledge that can be applied both in the workplace and in their daily lives to support long-term health.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to promoting preventive healthcare and fostering healthier workplaces by empowering individuals to take an active role in caring for their physical well-being.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the management and employees of Cryovac (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. for their warm hospitality, enthusiastic participation, and support in making this program a success.

DPRS PARTICIPATES IN HEALTH EXHIBITION AND SCREENING IN CONJUNCTION WITH BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM SERIES 2 – 50TH GOLDEN JUBILEE OF POLISAS

The Department of Physical Rehabilitation Sciences (DPRS) was honoured to be invited to participate in the Health Exhibition and Screening Programme held in conjunction with the Blood Donation Programme Series 2 – 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration of Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (POLISAS). The programme was organised by the POLISAS Mini Clinic in collaboration with the Student Affairs Department POLISAS.

As part of the programme, DPRS conducted a Health Exhibition and Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Session aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge among POLISAS students and staff on the importance of health care, as well as the role of physiotherapy in the prevention and rehabilitation of health conditions.

The programme, which took place from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the Dewan Seminar Mahkota, received an encouraging response from the POLISAS community. DPRS’s participation in this programme is hoped to further strengthen efforts in promoting healthy lifestyle practices and enhancing public awareness on the importance of rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
