Episode 4️⃣ : Some dreams take years to arrive.
And sometimes, they arrive in a way you never expected. 💟

I once dreamed of going abroad as a student.

I never imagined that one day, I would return to that dream as a doctor and as a speaker.👀 🧑‍⚕️

Looking back, I’m learning that maybe we don’t need to have everything figured out.

We just need to keep taking the next step.

Because one day, we may look back and realise—
we’re already living the dream we once prayed for. ✨

Episode 3️⃣: Sometimes, the biggest obstacle isn't failure—it's believing that one setback defines your future.

🔆 There was a time when I truly thought my dream of becoming a doctor was over. Looking back now, I'm grateful I didn't let one result decide the rest of my story.

💫 Your journey doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to keep moving.

Episode 2️⃣: I cried on SPM results day.

This is the one part of my story I've never shared before.

For years, I believed one exam would determine my future.

When I received my results, I thought my biggest dream had come to an end.

Looking back, I realise that sometimes the path to your dream begins with disappointment.

𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 1️⃣ : 𝗔 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

“Just write ‘doctor’.”🧑‍⚕️
That was what my mum casually told me when I was in Primary 1, filling in a school aspiration form.

I didn’t know what being a doctor meant and I didn’t know how difficult the journey would be.

I only knew that a little girl from a small town, Bukit Mertajam wrote the word “doctor” on a piece of paper — and unknowingly wrote it into her life.

《案例分享：不是医术高明，只是拥有一颗不愿放弃的心》

话说，在一个星期六我忙碌的门诊天，诊所来了一位中年男士，特地从槟岛过来。那时的他，一只眼睛视力严重受损，几乎眼盲，只剩下HM (意思是手指都看不到，只看到大物体移动而已)。

我听他娓娓道来，原来看不到已将近一个月了。看了不同医生，MRI 照了，也接受了治疗一段时间，但是视力一直没有好转。我看见他那渴望的心和眼神，希望从我这里看看还有什么方案可以帮到他吗。

经过仔细的了解和分析，我发现还有一些不足的地方。我和他分享我的想法，告诉他毕竟事发已经一些日子了，我们可以试试调整药的剂量，看看有没有帮助。也告诉他我的坚持，一定要验血找出背后的原因才能根治和避免同样的事件发生在另一只眼睛。同时，我也不敢给他过高的希望，只说我们可以试试看有没有转机，也告诉他调整药剂后需注意的事项。

结果，病人很坚定的说，“医生，我当然要试! 即使失败，我也不会怪你，因为我们已经试过了”。就这样，病人同意，拿着药回去了。

过了五天，在我还没进手术房前，争取时间见了他。就在我点下他档案的当下，天啊！！！！他的视力进步神速！！连我自己都不敢相信！

病人进来我房间时，已迫不及待的跟我分享说，“医生！我已经看到了！！！我很开心！！！以后我就只要来这里了！！” 而我也按捺不住当下的心情跟他说，“Uncle, 我也很开心！！！”结果，医生和病人一起手舞足蹈。🤣 因为，我们真。的。很。开。心！！！

和他解释接下来的处方过后我就带着感动和愉悦的心情开始当天的手术。原来凡事用心，做多做好一点点，结局真的可能不一样。。。感恩生命发生的一切。❤️
