🌟 A recap of our Retail Summit Asia 2026!
A big thank you to EasyStore , together with partners Affin Bank Berhad, J&T Express and Fiuu , for creating a space where real business conversations could happen.
Last week, theMOMTRIBE joined 400+ retailers, business founders, industry leaders and C-suite professionals at Retail Summit Asia 2026, connecting, learning and exchanging ideas in one room.
🌟 Tara Tan, CMO of XIXILI , shared how marketing an intimate category like lingerie requires sensitivity, trust and a strong understanding of the community they serve. A reminder that good marketing is not always about being louder, sometimes it is about knowing your customer deeply and communicating with care.
🌟 Sarini Zainal, Founder of The Pastels Shop® , showed how a strong and consistent brand identity can open doors beyond Malaysia. From their website and packaging to social media, every touchpoint helped build a brand that eventually attracted international attention.
🌟 Faridah Fadzil, Director of TANAMERA TROPICAL SPA SDN BHD , shared an interesting journey too. Tanamera started in Malaysia, but first built a strong international presence before bringing that focus back home. As one of our own brand partners, it was meaningful to hear how a Malaysian brand can grow globally while staying rooted in its identity.
🌟 And Dania Kamalul, Head of Marketing at BAYU SOMERSET , shared how the brand grew from a mall pop-up into 18 retail outlets within five years, while staying recognisable through its vibrant, modern colours and strong visual identity.
Reconnecting with our Momprenuers, seeing them introduce themselves, talk about their businesses, ask questions and put themselves out there was one of the best parts of the day.
For us as Mothers and women in business, these stories are important.
Because whether we are managing a team, building a retail brand, strengthening our positioning or thinking about the next stage of growth, there is always something to learn from businesses that have walked the road before us.
To our Mompreneurs: keep building your brand, keep refining your strategy, and keep putting yourself in rooms where your business can grow.
