NAMI Morehead is a national grassroots organization providing education, support and advocacy efforts for those with a mental health condition and their families. NAMI Morehead serves the following counties, Rowan, Bath, Montgomery, Menifee, Morgan, Elliot, Carter, Greenup, Boyd and Lawrence. . NAMI Morehead’s mission is support, education, and advocacy. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each

month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Public Library for support group. The 4th Tuesday we occasionally have a speaker or film open to everyone and designed to educate people about mental illnesses and reduce stigma.

*No, I am not part of any group. To my knowledge there is no national organized antifa group, it’s a movement. (There are small localized groups that have co-opted the name). I am anti-fascist, which is what antifa means. The only people I’ve heard say there is an organized national group are the fear mongering, far right, fascists trying to destroy our government.
