**SUBJECT: URGENT APPEAL FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE β SUPPORT OUR ELDERLY RESIDENTS IN NEED**
Dear Sir / Madam,
We are writing to you with an urgent and heartfelt appeal for financial assistance on behalf of Karl Albrecht Retirement Village, a registered non-profit welfare organisation dedicated to providing accommodation, care and a safe, dignified living environment for elderly residents in Grootfontein, Namibia.
For many years, our Village has provided a home to elderly members of our community, including pensioners who depend on limited retirement income and financial assistance from their families and other sources to cover their accommodation and care.
Unfortunately, we are currently facing a serious financial crisis.
**Our residents' outstanding accounts have risen to nearly N$300,000.00.**
Many of our elderly residents are simply unable to meet the full cost of their monthly accommodation and care. In some cases, family contributions and other financial assistance have become insufficient or have stopped altogether, leaving substantial unpaid balances.
Despite these financial difficulties, our responsibility to care for our residents continues.
Every day, we must provide nutritious meals, accommodation, personal care, cleaning, laundry, electricity, water, security and a safe living environment. Our dedicated staff members continue to care for our elderly residents, regardless of their financial circumstances.
However, the growing amount of outstanding resident debt has placed our organisation under severe financial pressure.
**We are now struggling to meet our monthly salary obligations and pay essential suppliers.**
Without additional financial support, it will become increasingly difficult to maintain the standard of care and services that our elderly residents depend upon.
We therefore humbly appeal to your company to consider assisting Karl Albrecht Retirement Village through a financial donation or by sponsoring the accommodation and care costs of one or more of our elderly residents in need.
Your contribution could help us:
- Subsidise the monthly accommodation and care costs of elderly residents who cannot afford their full fees.
- Provide nutritious daily meals and essential personal care.
- Meet our salary obligations to the staff members who care for our residents.
- Settle outstanding accounts with essential suppliers and maintain uninterrupted services.
- Ensure that financially vulnerable elderly residents can continue living in a safe, caring and dignified environment.
**SPONSOR AN ELDERLY RESIDENT IN NEED**
Businesses may choose to make a once-off donation, contribute towards a resident's outstanding accommodation account, or commit to a monthly sponsorship to help cover the shortfall between a resident's available income and the actual cost of their care.
Every contribution, regardless of its size, will make a meaningful difference.
We would also welcome the opportunity to discuss a structured sponsorship arrangement with your company, through which you could support a specific elderly resident in need while respecting the resident's privacy and dignity.
All donations will be properly recorded, and we can provide an official acknowledgement and receipt for contributions received.
Our aim is not merely to settle outstanding accounts, but to establish a sustainable support system that will allow financially vulnerable elderly residents to continue receiving the care they deserve.

Yours faithfully,
