Sometimes the hardest pain comes from the people you helped the most.
When I was able to help families during difficult times, when I accepted small deposits and allowed people to pay later, I was seen as a good person. I gave because I cared, not because I wanted praise.
But when life became difficult and I had to protect my business, set boundaries, and make better decisions, some people started seeing me differently.
It hurts when people remember only what you can give them and forget the sacrifices you made.
I am still the same person. I still care. But I have also learned that helping others should not destroy the person who is helping.
May God give me wisdom to serve people with love while also being responsible with what He has entrusted to me. 🙏
