There was a time when I thought surviving was my main priority. I didn't think I needed healing.
☑️If I got out of bed.
☑️If I made it to work.
☑️If I smiled through the pain.
☑️If I kept going.
I told myself I was getting better.
But I wasn't living.
I was surviving.
Healing didn't begin when I became stronger.
Healing began when I stopped treating survival as the only option.
✅️When I started listening to my body instead of arguing with it.
✅️When I rested instead of pushing through.
✅️When I separated my self-worth from my endurance.
Survival kept me alive.
Healing taught me how to live again.
🤍 What's one thing healing has taught you?
Don't feel pressured to have an answer. Some of us are still taking those first steps, and that's okay too.🫂
