Children’s dreams should never be ignored.
There was once a little girl who woke up one morning crying and begging her father not to let her go to school. She said she had a frightening dream — she saw her father carrying a small casket. Her father thought it was just a child’s imagination and insisted she must go to school.
Sadly, that same day, the school building collapsed, and many innocent children lost their lives.
Sometimes, children may not know how to explain what they feel or see, but parents should learn to listen carefully. Not every dream carries meaning, but wisdom teaches us not to ignore the voice, fear, or unusual concerns of a child.
Children have tender hearts, sensitive minds, and sometimes deep intuition. Listening to them can make all the difference.
Protect your children.
Listen to them.
Pray with them.
Take their words seriously.
Their dreams may be more important than we think.
