It is World AIDS Day !

With data from UNAIDS indicating that 40 million people are living with globally, 10 million people are awaiting treatment and in 2024 alone, there is 1.3 million new infections globally.

This is a staggering record that simplifies the evidence that HIV/AIDS is still a global health threat and the funding cut, underscores it as a very terrible threat globally.

Youth Global platform on Hiv/aids is advocating for national government's to support their communities, by clising down on this funding gap, make life saving medicines available and enhance the availability of HIV bio - prevention methods in these communities, especially among the young people and adolescents to overcome the disruptions and sustain global efforts to end HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Corine Ngufor from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine has given science a new breakthrough.

According to Gates Foundation, Dr. Ngufor and her team designed a double - insecticide nets "infused with chlorfenapyr" that prevent the mosquitoes from producing energy, thereby leading to their death. The rationale for this strategy seems to be very simple. It stops malaria from the source, since the mosquito dies, when they cannot fly.

However, due to climate change or random variation of the ecosystem, the adaptation of mosquitoes is non negotiable but advance in science like this idea from Dr. Corine and her team will give global health, the needed opportunity to overcome this new adaptation skills from mosquitoes and lead to eliminating malaria from its source.

Finally, the wife of the celebrant exhibited the aura of a former first lady while making her amazing and wonderful speech.
