WHY I CHOSE GUT & DIGESTIVE HEALTH

Have you ever wondered why so many people continue to suffer from stomach ulcers, gastritis, acid reflux, bloating, constipation, and other digestive health problems despite taking different medications?

Over the years, I have witnessed the pain these conditions can cause. I have met people who have struggled for years, spending their hard-earned money on treatment without finding lasting relief. I have also seen families lose loved ones after digestive diseases were never properly understood or managed.

Those experiences changed my life.
They made me realize that many people are not just looking for another medication—they are looking for answers. They want to understand why they are sick and how they can truly heal.

That is why I founded Eat To Beat Disease Consults.

My mission is to educate, empower, and guide people to understand the root causes of digestive health problems through evidence-based nutrition, practical lifestyle changes, and simple health education that anyone can understand and apply.

I strongly believe that knowledge saves lives.
When people understand their bodies, they make better health decisions. They move beyond temporary symptom relief and begin the journey toward lasting health.

This page is more than a business page. It is a community where you will learn:

✅ The truth about stomach ulcers, gastritis, and acid reflux.

✅ The root causes of digestive health problems.

✅ Practical nutrition and lifestyle strategies for better gut health.

✅ Simple, evidence-based health education that can improve your quality of life.

Whether you are struggling with a digestive health challenge, caring for someone who is, or simply want to live a healthier life, you are welcome here.

I invite you to join me on this journey as we learn, grow, and build healthier lives together.

She Thought Removing Her Gallbladder Would Solve Everything, She Was Wrong

Yesterday, I spoke with a woman who touched my heart.

She complained of acid reflux, bloating, a big stomach that made it difficult for her to breathe, and constipation. Sometimes she would not pass stool for 3 to 5 days.

As I asked more questions, I found out she had her gallbladder removed and was taking acid-reducing medicine.

Then she said something that made me feel sorry for her.

She said she wished someone had given her the right information about her health before the surgery.

She believed removing her gallbladder would solve all her problems.
But today, she is still struggling with digestive issues.

The gallbladder stores bile, which helps your body digest fat. After it is removed, some people need extra support with digestion and nutrition.

I also started asking another question.

Was the real cause of her health problem ever found?

Could poor gut health, an imbalance of gut bacteria, or problems like SIBO be part of the reason she is still suffering?

Please understand me.

I am not saying gallbladder surgery is wrong. In many cases, it is necessary and can save lives.
But surgery does not always remove the root cause of the problem.

Your body works as one system. When one part is affected, the whole body can also be affected.

That is why I always encourage people to look beyond treating symptoms. Find the root cause, support the gut, and help the body heal as much as possible.

Have you, or someone you know, had a gallbladder removed? Did your digestive problems improve, or are you still struggling?

Share your experience in the comments. Someone else may learn from your story.

WHY YOUR ULCER KEEPS COMING BACK

Look at these three pictures carefully.
The first picture is what a healthy stomach looks like.
The second picture shows how an ulcer often begins with just one sore.

Now look at the third picture.

Do you see the difference?

This is what can happen when the underlying problem is not properly addressed and the stomach continues to be injured over time.

Many people live like this.
The pain starts

They buy ulcer drugs.

The pain reduces.

A few weeks later, it comes back.

They change the drugs.

Someone recommends herbs.

Again, they feel better...
But the ulcer keeps returning..

What many people don't realize is that feeling relieved is not always the same as healing.

Your stomach is not just where food enters.
It is where digestion begins, where nutrients are released for your body to absorb. When your stomach isn't healthy, your digestion, energy, sleep, and overall health can all be affected.

Please don't normalize living with stomach pain month after month.

Your body is trying to tell you that something needs attention.

Don't wait until the damage becomes more serious before taking it seriously.

If you want me to explain why ulcers keep coming back and what you should focus on to support healing, comment "ULCER" below.

You cannot win a war you don't understand
The reason why you are still struggling with ulcer is not because there is not solution.

You cannot be healed when you keep on giving your body the wrong thing to heal

I've Treated My Ulcer for 8 Years, Why Does It Keep Coming Back?
A man from Lagos once looked at me with tears in his eyes and said:
"Dietitian Musa, I have spent hundreds of thousands of naira on ulcer drugs, herbs, and hospital bills. Every time I take medication, I feel better for a while, then the pain comes back.
Am I going to live like this forever?"

That question broke my heart. Because I know millions of people are asking the same question.
Why does your ulcer keep coming back even after treatment?
The answer may surprise you.

Reason 1: You are fighting the wrong enemy.
For years, many people have been told that stomach acid is the cause of ulcers.
That belief has made countless people focus only on reducing stomach acid.

But think about this,
If stomach acid were the real enemy, why doesn't everyone with stomach acid develop an ulcer?
Here Is The Truth.
Your stomach produces hydrochloric acid for a reason.
It is supposed to be there.
It helps break down food, absorb nutrients, and destroy harmful microbes.
It is like the fire under a cooking pot.
The problem is not the fire.
The problem is when the protective barrier that shields or protect your stomach don't have enough strength to protect your stomach lining or walls anymore.

Once that protective barrier is weakened, the acid that normally helps digestion now touches the tissue, causing burning, pain, inflammation, and ulcers.
Imagine removing the heat-resistant gloves from someone's hands and then asking them to hold a hot pot.
Would you blame the pot?
Or would you replace the protection?
That is exactly what happens inside many people's stomachs.
Many treatments only reduce the acid temporarily.
The pain may disappear for a while.
But if the damaged protective barrier is never repaired, the ulcer often returns.
Your body is not failing you.

Your stomach is sending you a message:
"Repair my protective barrier, and give me what I need to heal."
This is why I don't believe healing should stop at suppressing stomach acid.

Healing means finding and addressing the root cause, repairing the damaged lining, restoring the protective barrier, supporting the body's natural healing process, and correct

You're Short of Breath But It May NOT Be Your Lungs!

Do you find yourself getting out of breath after walking a short distance, climbing stairs, or even while resting?

Many people assume it's only a lung problem, but shortness of breath can also be linked to poor nutrition, anemia, chronic inflammation, heart conditions, digestive issues, anxiety, obesity, poor fitness, allergies, or other underlying health problems.

The key is not to ignore the symptom or simply mask it. You need to understand why it's happening.

In this video, I explain some of the common causes of shortness of breath and practical lifestyle and nutrition strategies that may help—while also highlighting when you should seek urgent medical care.

Watch until the end and let me know in the comments: When do you experience shortness of breath the most?

Oga, ulcer has no cure.

Those were the words a man told me on the streets of Kaduna.

He said he had been struggling with ulcer and digestive problems for over 8 years.

I asked, "Who told you that?"

He replied:
"I've spent millions treating this ulcer. My doctor said it cannot be cured—only managed with drugs."

I asked another question:
"How sure are you that you're treating the real cause?"

He told me he had tested positive for H. pylori, had taken different drugs and herbs, but the pain kept coming back.

As we continued talking, I realized something important:
He had been getting temporary relief from symptoms, but no one had helped him address the root causes behind why the problem kept returning.

This is the reality for many people.
They are not truly healing, they are only managing symptoms.

For many people, lasting improvement requires more than just taking medication. It requires understanding the cause, restoring the gut environment, supporting healing, and making the right nutrition and lifestyle changes.

That is why I use my CRIRRES Ulcer Healing & Gut Reset Principle to guide people with recurring ulcer symptoms and digestive challenges.

If you want me to share the first step in understanding ulcer healing and reducing recurring stomach pain, comment CRIRRES.
