Our participation at the Annual Conference and General Meeting of the Nigerian Society for Haematology & Blood Transfusion gave us an opportunity to share the progress we are making in advanced haematology care.
 
In 2026, we successfully carried out our first two stem cell transplants at AMCE, adding this highly specialised treatment to the care available to patients in Nigeria.
 
We have also established a functioning blood radiator at the Centre, an important part of preparing blood products for certain patients receiving advanced haematology treatments.
 
These developments are part of our wider role in expanding access to specialised haematology care in Nigeria and across Sub Saharan Africa, with the capacity to support patients who would otherwise have to travel further for treatment.
