Based on available information, the ministry visited QAH on March 2nd, 2026, to document a dedicated, high-profile visit by the Nigerian Minister of Health to the Queen of Angels Hospital in Enugu. The Commissioner of Health and his team in this sector at Enugu State Ministry of Health have been actively inspecting private health facilities and enforcing regulations to ensure standards, safety, and proper registration within Enugu State.

The Enugu State Commissioner for Health, Prof. George Ugwu, has been conducting unannounced visits to various hospitals and clinics to check for safety violations.
Queen of Angels Hospital, previously located in Trans-Ekulu, Enugu, is a functional, privately operated hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services.
