TELL YOUR SPOUSE THIS EVERY DAY: "I LOVE YOU."
Many marriages are not destroyed by hatred but by a lack of expressed love. Never assume your husband or wife already knows how you feel. Love should be spoken as well as shown.
Saying "I love you" every day:
Reassures your spouse of your commitment.
Creates emotional security in your marriage.
Strengthens intimacy and friendship.
Heals emotional wounds caused by stress or misunderstandings.
Reminds your spouse that they are valued and appreciated.
Keeps the fire of love burning even after many years of marriage.
Words have power.
A simple "I love you" can brighten your spouse's day, give them confidence, and strengthen your relationship.
Love is not only demonstrated through gifts and actions but also through kind, affectionate words.
The Bible says:
"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." — Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)
"Let all your things be done with charity (love)." — 1 Corinthians 16:14 (KJV)
"My beloved is mine, and I am his." — Song of Solomon 2:16 (KJV)
Challenge for Today: Don't let today end without looking into your spouse's eyes and sincerely saying, "I love you." Those three words, spoken consistently and backed by loving actions, can transform a marriage and keep love alive.
