WHEN LOVE HAD NO AGE

Episode 1 — The Woman at the Bus Stop

At thirty-eight, Amara had stopped believing that love would ever find her again, not because she hated love.

She simply had too many reasons to be careful, her first marriage had ended quietly, leaving her with a seven-year-old daughter, a small rented apartment, and memories she rarely discussed.
For years, Amara had concentrated on raising her daughter, building her career, and pretending that she didn't mind coming home to an empty house.

Then one rainy Tuesday evening, everything changed.
Amara stood beneath a small shop's canopy, holding her handbag tightly against her chest as rain poured onto the Lagos road.

A young man suddenly ran toward the same shelter and say
"Please, can I stand here for a moment?" he asked, breathing heavily.

Amara looked at him.
He couldn't have been more than twenty-seven.
There's enough space," she replied.
Thank you.

His name was Daniel.
They exchanged only a few words that evening. But somehow, when Amara got home, she found herself remembering his smile.
She dismissed the thought immediately.

He's probably someone's younger brother," she muttered.
The following week, she saw him again.
This time, he was sitting inside a small café near her office.
He recognized her immediately.
Rain woman," he joked, Amara laughed.

That's what you're calling me now?"
Only because rain seems to introduce us.
They became friends.

At first, Amara enjoyed their conversations because Daniel never treated her like a woman who had failed at marriage. He didn't ask why she was divorced. He didn't pity her. He simply listened.

Then one afternoon, Daniel said something that frightened her.
I like talking to you.
Amara smiled awkwardly.
You're young, Daniel.
He looked at her calmly, and you're older than me. I know.

Then you understand why this shouldn't go anywhere.
Daniel smiled.

Maybe love doesn't always ask permission from age.
Amara's smile disappeared.

For the first time in years, she was afraid—not of being hurt again, but of being happy.

Because sometimes the most dangerous thing isn't falling in love.
It's believing that you deserve it.

And Amara had no idea that Daniel's feelings were about to create a storm neither of them was prepared for.

To be continued...

I need your honest advice because I honestly don't know what to do anymore

I am a mother of 2 children, and a few years ago I married the father of my children because I believed we had finally decided to build a proper family together, but before the marriage, we had already experienced many problems, but I thought marriage would bring stability and make us both more responsible.

Unfortunately, things did not turn out the way I expected.

After we got married, I discovered that my husband was still secretly involved with another woman. At first, I confronted him, and he promised me it would never happen again, because of our children and the love I still had for him, I decided to forgive him.

But later, I began noticing the same pattern again, he would hide his phone, disappear for hours, and become distant whenever I asked questions.
Eventually, I found out that he had continued seeing the same woman.

What hurts me most is that I feel betrayed by someone I trusted completely.

I have tried talking to him calmly, I have tried forgiving him, I have even wondered whether I am somehow responsible for what is happening, but deep down I know that his choices are his responsibility.

Now I am confused, i have two children to think about, and I don't want my children growing up surrounded by constant arguments and distrust, and at the same time, I don't want to make a decision I might regret later.

So I am asking everyone here:

If you were in my position, what would you do?

Would you give him another chance if he genuinely agreed to change, or would you choose to walk away and focus on creating a peaceful life for yourself and your children

Please, I need honest advice—not insults, judgment, or condemnation.
