Dont assume that because you met them in Church, God sent them to you. You can meet someone in church, speak the same Christian language, serve in the same ministry and the person will still be the wrong person for you.

That is why you need more than attraction. Pray. Discern. Observe. Ask questions.

Don’t let but he’s a brother or she’s a church sister silence your discernment.

Not everyone who sits in church is sent by God for you.

Some people are in a relationship with their partner and approximately 17 other people because the moment they have an argument, Their best friend, colleague or neighbour cousin knows.

And somehow, by evening, people who have never met you are already forming opinions about your relationship. 😂

Listen, seeking counsel is healthy but broadcasting every disagreement is not.

You don't need to tell everyone who will listen that your partner annoyed you, forgot your birthday, said something hurtful or whatever.

Some matters need prayer, Some need mature counsel and some simply need the two people in the relationship to sit down and TALK.

Choose your confidants wisely. Your relationship deserves privacy, not an audience.

They are in love with the life raft.

The relationship is not leading to marriage.
The commitment is absent.
The future is blurry, Yet they stay!!!
You know why?
Because they are afraid.🥹

Afraid of being the only single person in their circle and every other daft reason. then they get married and still divorce years later

Don't Get Attached Too Early

One of the biggest mistakes people make in dating is getting emotionally attached before they have clarity.

A few good conversations, daily check-ins, sweet words, and suddenly they have occupied a permanent space in your heart. You start imagining a future, adjusting your plans, and making emotional investments in someone who has not yet proven they deserve that level of access.

Attachment is powerful. It can make you ignore red flags, excuse poor behavior, and stay longer than you should. It can convince you that potential is the same thing as character and that chemistry is the same thing as commitment.

Before you allow your heart to settle, be sure they are consistent, real and intentional about you!

Guard your heart, let intentionality win it.

Some people's love interest is unfortunately their future source of pain and agony.🥺

Sad reality.

The person they pray about today becomes the person they cry over tomorrow.

The name that makes them smile today becomes the name they struggle to hear years later.

Not because love is bad oo but because feelings can be blind while character is speaking loudly. (A lot of them choose to ignore even when the character is screaming boldly)

This is why love should never be the only reason you choose someone. Attraction can start a relationship, but wisdom is what helps sustain one.

Church Dating

Some church relationships have more spectators than football matches.

The brother says "Good morning" to a sister three Sundays in a row and half the church has already concluded that their wedding will hold in December. 😄

A week later, they sit together during service. The ushers notice, inshut everyone notices.

Before you know it, people are discussing a relationship that has not even been discussed by the two people involved. Hmmm

Church dating is interesting because Everybody can see something, Everybody has an opinion, Everybody has a prophecy. Lol

church dating is one area where singles need wisdom. Plenty of it!!!!!

If a relationship has no direction, it has no business demanding deep emotions, so if two of you are not ready for marriage, then dont indulge especially in a church setting.

Church dating should not be about passing time oh
