The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) has opened the Examination Application Portal for the November 2026 General and Post Nurses Examinations.
The portal have been made accessible since Monday, September 14, 2026 to Monday, September 28, 2026.
Important Information
1. All eligible candidates are expected to complete their online examination application and payment within the stipulated period. Late applications will not be entertained.
2. All examination applications must be paid for within 48 hours of initiation. Any application not paid for within this period will be automatically invalidated by the system. Examination fees must be paid individually by each candidate after successful application and clearance by the institution.
3. Examination Application Process
- Visit https://myportal.nmcn.gov.ng/
- Click on “Apply for Fresh Exam.”
- Select your Institution State and Institution.
- Enter your Index Number, Surname, Email Address and Phone Number.
- Click “Proceed” and complete the required information.
- Preview and submit your application.
- Check your email and click the confirmation link sent to you.
- Return to the portal and log in using your email address and verification code.
- Update your previous indexing profile.
- Click “Apply for Exam” and proceed with payment after clearance by your institution.
