🤱🏽 PROPER POSITIONING DURING BREASTFEEDING 💕🍼
Proper positioning helps your baby latch well, breastfeed effectively, and prevents ni**le pain or injury.
✨ Key points to remember:
• Keep your baby’s head and body in a straight line—the neck should not be twisted.
• Hold your baby close to your body, with the tummy facing your tummy.
• Support your baby’s head, neck, and shoulders.
• Bring the baby to the breast, not the breast to the baby.
• Make sure the baby’s nose is opposite the ni**le before latching.
• The baby’s mouth should open wide, taking in the ni**le and a good portion of the ar**la.
• Your baby’s chin should touch the breast, with the nose free or lightly touching the breast.
💡 Remember: A good position + a good latch = comfortable and effective breastfeeding. ❤️
