NEW MONTH. 🤍
Everyone is talking about new goals.
New plans.
New habits.
More productivity.
More things to accomplish.
But before you ask yourself,
“What do I want to achieve this month?”
Ask yourself something else:
“Who am I when I’m not being useful to everyone?”
Who are you when you’re not working?
When you’re not fixing something?
When nobody needs anything from you?
When you’re not taking care of everyone else?
When you’re not achieving, producing, solving, or performing?
Who are you then?
Maybe this month doesn’t need to begin with doing more.
Maybe it can begin with remembering that your worth was never dependent on how much you accomplish.
You are still valuable when you’re resting.
You are still worthy when you’re not productive.
You are still enough when you have nothing to prove.
So, before you fill this new month with things to do…
make room for the woman you are when you’re simply being.
I’ve never thought about it that way.
Save this and come back to it whenever productivity starts becoming your identity.
