At that time, schools of "modern medicine" began to emerge, leading to a decline in traditional folk medicine, particularly in developed nations. Modern medicine evolved and excelled in disease detection and diagnosis—utilizing everything from advanced scanning equipment and various imaging techniques to medical analyses and hematological research — earning it the well-deserved title of the "school of disease diagnosis." Simultaneously, chemical and pharmaceutical companies developed, producing hundreds—even thousands—of medications. While some were herbal, the majority were chemical; these drugs treated illnesses but often caused side effects that plagued humanity. Consequently, a significant movement began—especially in developed countries—advocating for a return to "traditional folk therapy," which lacks the devastating side effects associated with modern chemical drugs. These nations even began modernizing traditional therapies and their tools, adopting advanced, sterile equipment that prioritizes human health, and establishing modern schools for "contemporary folk therapy" under the banner of "Alternative Medicine."
