The first question to get to know yourself is who are you?

Ask yourself *”Who am I?”*

The question is deep but with deep reflection you can answer it.

*“If I could change something about me what would it be”*

If you want to grow then you need to figure out your weaknesses 🌝✨

As Salam alaykum wa rahmotullah wa barakatuh Beloved hearts,

You still feel like you don’t understand yourself, you are still controlled by your fears and still couldn’t figure out your talent despite the fact that you’ve read a lot of reflective write-ups and went to a lot of self-growth webinar.

It’s now the time to put them all into use, it’s time to ask yourself the questions you’ve been avoiding, it’s time to *REFLECT*.

Smile always, it’s sunnah.
Keep smiling, keep shining.

“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah SWT do hearts peace” Q13:28

Everyone craves for peace, not the kind of peace that comes with safety alone, but the kind that comes with a state of mental and emotional stability, when the mind, heart and soul are free from anxiety, worry and emotional stress.

This verse is powerful because it speaks directly to the condition of the human heart. No matter how strong a person appears, the heart still needs comfort, reassurance, and peace.

Psychologically, remembrance of Allah helps calm the mind and emotions. When a person engages in dhikr, du’a, or recitation of the Qur’an, the mind slowly becomes less overwhelmed. Repeating words like SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar creates a sense of calmness because the heart shifts its focus away from fear and pressure toward Allah.

Studies show that calm repetition and deep spiritual focus reduce stress levels, slow down anxious thoughts, and help the nervous system relax. In Islam, dhikr naturally creates this effect. It helps a person breathe slowly, think clearly, and feel emotionally lighter.

Remembrance of Allah also reduces overthinking. Many people suffer mentally because they constantly worry about the future, people’s opinions, or things beyond their control. But when a person remembers Allah, they are reminded that Allah is in control of everything. This gives the heart reassurance.

Sometimes, people carry emotional pain because they feel alone. But dhikr reminds a believer that Allah is always near and omnipresent. Even when nobody understands their struggles, Allah knows every silent tear, every hidden fear, and every unspoken prayer. That awareness alone brings comfort to the heart.

Morally, remembrance of Allah also changes a person’s character and behavior. A heart connected to Allah becomes softer, calmer, and more patient. Dhikr helps people control anger, reduce hatred, and become more mindful of how they treat others.

A person who constantly remembers Allah is less likely to speak harshly, hurt others intentionally, or allow negativity to control them. This is because remembrance strengthens self-awareness and emotional control.

The remembrance of Allah also gives hope during difficult moments. Some people lose peace because they feel hopeless after facing hardship. But dhikr reminds believers that no difficulty lasts forever and that Allah’s mercy is greater than every pain.

This generation is emotionally tired. Many people are battling anxiety, loneliness, emotional pressure, and mental exhaustion quietly. Some try to escape their problems through distractions, but temporary distractions cannot heal a restless heart completely.

Some watches movie while some listen to music, but yet after few minutes of it they begin to feel restless again. Even therapist often prescribe music as a healing method forgetting about the fact that the peace in music never last.

The best therapy material for peace is remembrance of Allah SWT because it is a grounded believe that sticks with us every time assuring us of Allah’s mercy during difficult times.

The heart was created to connect with Allah. That is why worldly things may comfort a person temporarily, but they cannot fully replace spiritual peace. A heart distant from Allah may still feel empty even when everything else looks fine.

Sometimes, peace is found in simple moments of remembrance — in the quietness after salah, in making sincere du’a late at night, in reciting Qur’an after a stressful day, in whispering “Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel” when life feels heavy.

These moments may seem small, but they heal the heart slowly.

Remembering Allah does not mean a person will never feel sadness or pain. Even the Prophets experienced hardship. But remembrance gives strength to carry pain without completely breaking emotionally.

A heart connected to Allah still cries, still struggles, and still gets tired, but it does not lose hope easily because he knows Allah SWT has promised to provide him ease along difficulty.

In a world full of noise and emotional pressure, remembrance of Allah remains one of the greatest therapies for the heart. It brings comfort, emotional stability, hope, and inner peace in ways nothing else truly can.

So when life feels overwhelming, return to Allah.

Sometimes, the peace we are searching for begins with remembering Him.

*Smiling as a Therapy*

Life is not easy for everyone. Some people are fighting battles they never talk about. Some are tired mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, yet they still wake up every day trying their best. In a world filled with stress and sadness, sometimes the smallest things become a form of healing. One of those things is smiling.

A smile may look simple, but it has a deep effect on the human mind and heart. Scientifically, smiling affects the brain in remarkable ways. When a person smiles, the brain releases chemicals known as dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins. These chemicals are responsible for feelings of happiness, relaxation, and emotional balance.

Dopamine creates feelings of pleasure and motivation.

Serotonin helps stabilize mood and reduces feelings of sadness or anxiety.

Endorphins act as natural pain relievers and help reduce stress.

Researchers in psychology have also discovered that smiling lowers cortisol levels, which is the hormone associated with stress. High cortisol levels can lead to fatigue, anxiety, headaches, high blood pressure, and emotional instability. A smile, especially when genuine, helps the nervous system calm down and allows the body to feel safer and more relaxed.

This means smiling is not only a result of happiness. Sometimes, smiling can help create peace within a person. Even a small smile can help the mind relax a little after a stressful moment.

Psychologists also explain something called the facial feedback theory. It means the brain responds to facial expressions. So when a person smiles, the brain receives signals that encourage positive emotions. This is why smiling can slowly help a person feel lighter emotionally.

But beyond science, smiling has emotional power too. A smile can comfort someone without words. It can make people feel welcomed, valued, and safe. Sometimes, one sincere smile changes someone’s entire day.

Islam also teaches us the beauty of smiling. Our beloved Prophet Prophet Muhammad taught kindness in the simplest ways. He said:

> “Your smile for your brother is charity.”

This shows that smiling is not something small in Islam. It is an act of kindness and a Sunnah. The Prophet ﷺ was known for smiling often and treating people gently. His smile made people feel comfortable around him.

But sometimes the pain in a person’s heart feels too heavy to smile. There are days when sadness, disappointment, loneliness, or hardship make everything difficult. In those moments, smiling does not mean pretending life is perfect. It means refusing to let pain completely harden the heart.

One way to smile during difficult times is by remembering Allah. When a believer remembers that Allah sees every tear and every silent struggle, the heart becomes calmer. Another way is through gratitude. Even during hard times, there are still blessings around us that we often forget to notice.

Smiling through pain also starts with small things. You do not need to force loud happiness. Sometimes a soft smile is enough. Sometimes smiling simply means telling yourself, “I will keep going.”

There are people who smile not because life is easy, but because they still have hope in Allah’s mercy. They smile because they believe difficult moments will not last forever.

In a generation struggling with emotional and mental exhaustion, reviving small acts of compassion is necessary. Smiling costs nothing, yet its impact can be priceless. It heals hearts, comforts souls, and reminds people that they are not alone.

So smile when you can. Smile at your parents, your siblings, your friends, and even strangers. You may never know how much someone needed it.

Sometimes, healing begins with something as simple as a smile.

The beauty of Nature

“Indeed , in the creation of heaven and the earth and the alternation of day and night are sign for those who understand” Q3:190.

Allah SWT said the creation and existence of nature are sign for those who reflect yet our windows are always high, our concentration are always on phone, our schedules are always tight — too tight to have time to reflect on Allah’s creatures.

When was the last time we gaze up and appreciate the sun?
When was the last time we stare at the moon amidst the stars?
When was the last time we watched the clouds move?
When was the last time admire them golden light sprawled during sunset?

We got to know when the sun rise and set thanks to our clock. We use umbrella when the rain fall or the sun shine brightly. We depend on our alarm ignoring the cock’s efforts to wake us by crowing. We never acknowledge the bird’s way of saying good morning by chirping. We get distracted by life never for once pausing to reflect on this like this.

Allah SWT said this things are signs — signs of His sovereignty, signs of Peace, sign that teaches lessons.

If we observe the way the sky is placed high with no pillar holding it then we will praise Allah more often.

If we noticed the way the sun peek between the trees then we will see the beauty of nature.

If we let ourselves rest in the rhythm of the oceanic flow atmosphere then we will feel a soothing whirlwind peace and serenity.

If we scrutinise the way the bird protect it’s nest despite knowing it’s nestlings will later fly away then we will learn to do things expecting anything in return except rewards from Allah SWT.

If we study the way the clouds moves and fit perfectly with the blue sky, we will realise that everything we come across in life has an impact to make and will surely move away one day.

If we reflect on the way a bird flys high yet never beyond it’s limits because it will fall then we will realise that every restrictions and limitations is for our safety.

If we observe a beautiful clean flower growing in mud then we will learn never to lose hope regardless of our past and background.

So dear brothers and sisters, let rethink, reschedule and reflect, sometimes what we are searching aimlessly for — the answer to your questions, the response to your istikhoroh, the peace you’ve always wished — is very near and in the nature you belittled.

Spending time reflecting on nature is sunnah so let’s engage in it more often.

08/05/2026

I have not seen you with my eyes,
not in gardens, not under skies.
No field I’ve walked, no path I’ve known,
has shown me where your seeds are sown.

Yet still I know your gentle name,
Forget-me-not—soft and plain.
A name that carries something deep,
a promise the heart decides to keep.

They say you’re small, a quiet blue,
with petals simple, pure, and true.
Not bold or bright in striking ways,
but calm enough to hold a gaze.

I try to picture how you grow,
in places soft, in spaces low.
Maybe by rivers, cool and still,
or resting near a silent hill.

Though I have not seen you in real light,
I feel your meaning clear and bright.
You are not just a flower that grew—
you are a message, soft but true.

“Forget me not,” your petals say,
not loud, not forced, not pushed to stay.
Just a whisper, light and free,
asking gently for memory.

You remind me of love that stays,
even through long and distant days.
Of people gone, yet living still,
in quiet thoughts we always will.

Perhaps one day I’ll see you bloom,
in some calm field or quiet room.
And when I do, I think I’ll know—
you’re just as soft as hearts that grow.

Until that day, I’ll hold you near,
not in sight, but somewhere clear.
A flower I’ve never truly seen,
yet understand what you have been.

Small, unseen, yet deeply true—
a symbol carried, tried, and true.
Not every beauty must be known to be—
some are simply felt… like memory. 💙
