Let's talk about waist bead. \n\nBeads are known to be one of the things The Yoruba people used among the items of Orisa icon and most importantly, it's also used for recognition, protection and body adornment. \n\nWaist bead is one of the Ęsó Ara(body adorement) that yoruba women used to beautify their well endowed body. \n\nThere's a yoruba proverb that says: \n\nOmo ęni ò sè'dí bèrèrè\nKá f'ìlèkè s'ídìí omo elòmíì\n\nIf your child is blessed with a beautiful waist\nWhy go put the bead in another person's child waist?\n\nWhile growing up, we used to see mothers put waist bead on their children's waist just to beautify their body. \n\nNow adays, people are so ignorant that they now demonize waist bead, thinking a lady could use waist bead to 'collect' a man's "glory and destiny". So people still think like this in 2023???\n\nYes a woman can fortify her waist bead against bad omen from happening to her, it could be fortified for protection purpose but a waist bead can never be used to snatched a man's glory or turn a man to a robot. \n\nJust like we consecrate our Ifa and Orisa beads, a lady can fortify her waist bead too for her own protection. As a man, if you have no bad motives, then you have nothing to be scared of. \n\nDear beautiful lady, if you are using just two beads before, add five more. Let them bead bounce up and down as you walk around. 😁😁😁.\n Ire Oo‼️🧘🏾\nBabalawo Ifateru Says🗣️🗣️\n 🕊️✨📿

Have you been wondering why Traditionalists always drop a little of food or drink on the floor before putting it in mouth? In one story from Ifa corpus, Òrúnmìlà went to one of his friend’s place who had bad intention towards him(Òrúnmìlà}. On getting there, they served Òrúnmìlà a poisonous food. As he was about to start eating the food, he saw this chicken standing Infront of him with its neck stretched like its gonna attack Òrúnmìlà and snatched the food away from him. In order to avoid that, he decided to give the chicken some portion of the food so he would be able to enjoy his meal without any disturbance. But to his surprise, immediately the chicken tastes the food, it died with immediate effect. That’s how we started dropping anything eatable before eating. And another reason for this is because dropping a little portion of anything eatable before eating is another form of Ebo riru(libation) simply because Ebo riru is feeding humanity and nature. As you have dropped on the floor, you are feeding nature and the remaining you will be eating with family and friends is feeding humanity.
