Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Taraba State Branch, Pays Courtesy Visit to Taraba AIDS Control Agency (TACA).

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Taraba State Branch today paid a courtesy visit to the Taraba AIDS Control Agency (TACA) to strengthen collaboration in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
During the visit, NMA Taraba Chairman, Dr. Kara, congratulated TACA's Director-General, Dr. Bako Ali Istifanus, on his appointment and emphasized the importance of partnership in combating HIV/AIDS. Dr. Kara proposed key areas of cooperation, including:
1. Public enlightenment campaigns
2. Expanding access to testing and treatment services
3. Strengthening healthcare facilities
4. Training personnel
5. Engaging community leaders
Dr. Istifanus expressed gratitude to God and the governor for his appointment and commended NMA Taraba's efforts. Despite the shortage of doctors in the state, he acknowledged NMA Taraba's significant impact and offered to collaborate on sponsoring public awareness programs on radio and TV.
The visit concluded with a group photograph, solidifying the partnership between NMA Taraba and TACA.
