COMMUNITY MEDICINE DEPARTMENT COMMENDS CMD, MANAGEMENT OVER SUCCESSFUL NPMCN RE-ACCREDITATION EXERCISE
The Department of Community Medicine of the Hospital has recorded a significant milestone following the successful conduct of its re-accreditation exercise by the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN).
The Head of Department, Professor Oyefabi, expressed profound appreciation to the Chief Medical Director (CMD) for his exemplary leadership and unwavering support, which played a pivotal role in the success of the exercise.
According to Prof. Oyefabi, members of the accreditation panel commended the department’s facilities, personnel, and the overall quality of its residency training programme. He noted that the positive feedback reflects both the department’s and the hospital’s strong commitment to excellence in medical education and healthcare delivery.
“While we await the official report from the NPMCN, we are highly encouraged by the positive outcome of the exercise thus far. This achievement would not have been possible without the immense support of the Chief Medical Director and the hospital management,” he stated.
The department also extended its congratulations and gratitude to the hospital’s management team and entire staff for their critical role in ensuring that all required standards were met during the accreditation process.
This successful re-accreditation exercise is expected to further strengthen the department’s capacity to train resident doctors and enhance the quality of healthcare services within the institution and beyond.
