IS BREAKFAST THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY?

I think every meal you eat is important.

Let me explain. 👇👇

*****Drinks a glass of cold water*****

You are only in control of your food when it has not left your plate to your mouth.
The moment it leaves your plate to your mouth, you cease to be in control.

Enzymes, hormones, and other internal processes beyond your control begin to happen.

The concept of breakfast didn’t exist until around the Industrial Age—when fast life and convenience became the norm.

Let me chip in a little physiology here:

It takes between 20–30 hours for food to move from your mouth to your a**s.

First 3–12 hours: between your stomach and your colon.

The remaining hours: in your colon.

You need space between each meal—at least enough for your stomach and intestine to work effectively.

*****Sips green tea*****

Modern advice says you should eat breakfast between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Not bad advice, though.

Now, here’s where the problem lies:

Most mornings, you won’t have time to cook good food.
That pushes you to fast alternatives like:
— Bread
— Breakfast cereals
— Noodles
— Pap/breads
— Fruit juice

All high-carb, high-fat foods.

The truth is, your body has enough calories in store to take you up to 10 days without harm.

Your blood can only hold 4g of glucose at a time—
That’s one cube of sugar.

Your liver stores up to 100g of glycogen (liver starch).
Your muscles store a further 300g of glucose.

When you eat all the time, you don’t allow your body to utilize fat—because glucose is always present in your blood.

Your body responds by producing insulin.
Insulin helps you utilize nutrients, but it also promotes fat storage (anabolism).

The fat you’re not using stays stored.

Over time, constant eating leads to more insulin production.
Your cells get tired of insulin and resist it.
This forces your pancreas to produce even more.

High insulin levels are very bad for your health and well-being and can make you fat—
Even if you look thin on the outside (TOFI).

Half of your problems will be solved if you cut out sugar.
Another 20% if you delay your next meal.
Another 25% if you source most of your calories from:
— Protein
— Non-starchy veggies
— Complex carbs
— Good fats

If you add:
— Fibre
— Organic foods

…I just solved 95% of your diet issues in one thread.

Breakfast 1: 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Breakfast 2: Before 8 p.m.

Make sure you eat at least 2 hours before bedtime.

Fast daily. Start with 16 hours.

Before I go, let me remind you: insulin resistance is one of the most dangerous things that can happen to your body.

Decide to make shrewd changes today.
Your health is your first wealth.
I won’t get tired of reminding you.
