After my children went to school, I just covered myself with wrapper and slept a little before I continue with my other activities for the day.

This is one of the advantages of my current season of life and I am enjoying it very well.

One thing I have learnt in this life is that life is in seasons. You just have to know your season, know your priorities, advantages and disadvantages and work with them.

Most importantly, accept your current season, use it very well because it never comes back and make every experience count while in it.

Leave complaints and noise.

Make preparations for easy transitioning into your next season and not just be comfortable in your current season.

I am the founder of Resourceful Children Hub, I sell children's learning resources and books.

I am the author of Navigating the Challenges of Raising a Special Needs Child.

I have a son named Ikem, a warrior of cerebral palsy. I share my journey with him Life with Ikem: A Cerebral Palsy Warrior to encourage other special needs families and educate the public about cerebral palsy.

I love reading, writing and talking a lot.

I am healthy lifestyle enthusiast. I help women get their desired body goals and confidence back after childbirth through my weight loss journey programmes by BODY GOALS GROUP.

Holiday should not just be for entertainment alone or a time to send the children on holiday because we don't want their disturbances.

Holiday should be used as an opportunity to study, shape and influence your Children.

This is the time when you get to watch them closely as they play and interact with others.

Use this period intentionally and with plan.

Mpa doesn't give up ooo. Ikem perseverance is on another level.

He struggled with Ikem for a long time until he eventually worn him the stockings and he was so happy.

I got tired of doing the video before he finally got it.

He said Ikem was fighting him, the boy and his choice of words at 2 years is something else.

They enjoy helping out in taking care of their brother.

I get them involved in taking care of him and for them to understand his and his condition.

I want them to love him naturally and not to see taking care of him as a burden.

I intentionally do this as one of my EXIT STRATEGIES.

I talked about EXIT STRATEGY in my book "NAVIGATING THE CHALLENGES OF RAISING A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD" and it is available for sale both in hardcopy( #5,000) and softcopy ( #3,000).

I deliberately send them to wear Ikem stockings often and they enjoy doing it to the extent that his brother who is 2years old wants to be the only one doing it.

They were even wearing him left and right here and nobody agreed to allow the other person do the work alone.

They shared it between the two.

This rainy season has been very challenging for Ikem, God is helping us to navigate through it.

Ikem is blessed with the best siblings.

Watching your loved one go through pain, knowing that you cannot do anything to help, has to be the most terrible situation to be in.
