Hmm… life really has a way of surprising us 😭💔
I gave birth to my daughter when I was just 15 years old, still trying to understand life myself. We literally grew up together through struggles, tears, sacrifices, and little moments of happiness.

Now fast forward to today… she’s 17 and expecting her own baby 🥺 while I’m also pregnant again at the same time. Imagine that 😭❤️
Very soon, she’ll be welcoming my grandchild while I’ll be welcoming her little brother.

Sometimes I sit down and think about how fast life moves. It hasn’t been easy at all, but through every challenge, I’ve learned to stay strong and keep pushing forward for my children.

People may judge our story differently, but this is our reality, and all I pray for is a better future for both of us and our babies 🙏❤️

Life may not go the way we planned, but every experience teaches us something.

And be careful with people around you…

For 3 years, my husband had been out of a job. God was so kind that after one encounter during one of our church services in November 2025, that same week he got a job. The load was off my neck, things were going well, and there was plenty of food that I even shared with others in need.

Earlier before getting this job, there was this my neighbor. She has one child, and the baby loves my husband so much that she comes to stay with us since I work from home. Now this lady used the advantage to go sell her market since her baby was in our house.

Here’s the gist. So when my husband got this job, she made a statement saying, “Who will be carrying her baby for her so she can go sell?” But I was too excited for the job, so I ignored it, not knowing that she was not happy.

One evening while we were eating, she came in, greeted us, and sat close to where my husband kept his work shoes. Later that day, my husband told me he had something to tell me and that we should take a walk in our estate. This was after 12am. He said he saw our neighbor putting something inside his shoe.

I was mad at him. I asked, “Why didn’t you confront her then?” He said he was shocked.

I called my sister-in-law, who is a prophetess. She came and we prayed. Not long after, my husband was sacked and the shoes were taken from him.

Two days after him staying in the house, the lady came around 7:45am and knocked on my door.

“Sir oo, abeg help me carry baby, I wan go sell my market.”

I rushed to open the door. My husband said I should take it easy, so I told her, “Madam, carry your pikin go sell your market. My husband is going out.”

Right there, I drew the line, not just with her but with everyone living in my compound.

I entered fasting and prayers. I called my close friend and told her, and within a week she got a job for my husband after he had stayed home for a month.

Following this, the woman told her husband to go do “oguaja” work because he didn’t pay him complete.

That evening when they came back, I told my husband, “Guy, you don get job. No need for interview. You’re starting tomorrow.”

My husband was surprised and happy. He hugged me and told me thank you.

Now the morning came. His boss had given him new safety boots. As my husband was about leaving the house, this my neighbor ran and stopped my husband halfway.

“Sir, where you dey go? You don get another new shoe? You don get work?”

Note, I stopped talking to her from the day my husband was sacked, and he never told her he lost his old job. My husband just replied, “No ooo, I dey go village go see my brother,” but she was so focused on the shoes.

I declared her my en.emy immediately and I started doing midnight prayers. Since then, if she sees me, she hurries up and enters her house.

I just told my husband to be careful because of the love he has for their child. He plays with her, but I stopped him from bringing her inside my house because it will give room for the mother to come in, which I don’t want.

I see she’s not happy with my marriage because of the bond between me and my husband. I remember her telling my husband once to stop washing my clothes and helping me in housework. That was before my husband lost the first job.

She would say
“The time wey you go use rest, na him you dey use wash your wife cloth. Na wa ooo.”

I warned her never to say that to my husband again and focus on her own husband..

Some battles we fight come from the environment we stay in.

I have double my prayer and i still need advice on what to do…

Your suggestions and advice are needed..

THEY WAITED 7 YEARS FOR A CHILD, THEN SOMETHING TERRIFYING HAPPENED AFTER THE BABY’S THANKSGIVING

When Salome married Raymond, they rented a beautiful apartment in Enugu.

The compound was quiet, neat and cheaper than other houses in the area, so they moved in immediately after their wedding.

At first, everything was peaceful.

But one year later, Salome became pregnant and suddenly lost the baby at four months.

She cried for weeks.

Doctors told her to rest well and avoid stress.

Then she became pregnant again.

The same thing happened.

Another miscarriage.

As years passed, the pain became worse.

Hospitals, churches, fasting and prayers… nothing worked.

Some neighbours even started mocking her secretly.

“She may never have children,” people whispered.

Salome stopped attending baby showers because the pa!n was too much.

Her husband tried his best to comfort her, but deep inside, he was also tired and frustrated.

Then during the seventh year of their marriage, Salome became pregnant again.

This time, an elderly nurse advised her to leave the city until she delivered safely.

Without wasting time, Raymond took her to stay with his elder sister in another state.

For the first time in years, the pregnancy was peaceful.

No strange dreams.
No blee-ding.
No sudden sickness.

Nine months later, Salome gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

The whole family celebrated like people who had received a miracle.

Three months later, they organized a thanksgiving party in their compound.

Neighbours, friends and church members all came to celebrate with them.

Even the compound security man carried the baby and danced happily during the party.

That night, after everybody had gone home, Salome and Raymond finally slept peacefully with their daughter beside them.

Around 1am, they suddenly heard heavy banging on their door.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Raymond jumped up in fear.

Before he could even ask who was outside, the door was forced open.

Four masked men entered the apartment with guns.

Salome immediately grabbed her baby and started shaking.

One of the men pointed at the child and shouted,

“That is the baby!”

The leader of the gang walked closer slowly.

Then he said something that made Salome’s blood run cold.

“We are not here for money… we came for the child.”

I regret ever having children with my husband. I had my twin through Cs because my labour wasn't progressing and one of the child was already in distress. I had to be wheeled in for an emergency operation. At first my husband refused that they should allow me to keep trying, I told him i can't lose my children after my pregnancy journey, he just agreed grumbling. The Cs was successful. My husband refused to pay for the Cs, he said I was the one who wanted the operation because I was lazy to push like other women.

He asked me if i can't do the only thing I'm meant to do as a woman that what exactly is my usefulness. He left us in the hospital without paying. My mother came later that day. She called my husband but he refused to pick. I had to pay the hospital bill by myself and we were discharged.

Would you believe that before I got home my husband has brought his mother for omugwo. He said he can't allow a stranger care for his children, that my mother won't know how to care for his blood. My mother and i were ridiculed. Infact my mother cried because of how my husband spoke and she left to her husband house after the naming. Please note this that my husband and I are from thesame state and he know that it is my mother's right to care for me.

My husband told me to never let his mother know that I had Cs if not there will be trouble. I had to start pretending and do things with pain but act like nothing. While I was doing this, my Cs wound tore again and I was rushed to the hospital because I was bleeding.

To my surprised my husband is angry with me for letting his mother know that I had Cs but doesn't bother to know or care about my health. I had to call my father. He came with my brother. He took my children and I back home. I don't how he did it but he made sure my husband paid all the hospital bill and the Cs money I paid earlier and now he wants him to come and collect the bride price which I think he's going to far.

My husband as been begging with his family including his mother, I believe they already know what they did and my father should let things be but he insisted if I go that he won't have anything to do with me again.

I still love my husband, I think my father should just forgive him. Please ma I need your advice and people's advice on this. Am I wrong for this reconciliation or my family are over doing things?

Thank you

My brother's wife stop making breakfast for my mum since last month and it is causing issue now. She gave birth 2month ago and went to her parent's house to care for the baby. She came back to her house last month and my mother went to their place to help but I was informed early this month that my brother's wife stop giving my mum's break fast since end of April.

I called her to asked her what is really happening. She said if that's the only thing my mum can do for herself in the house that it is not too much. She said if anyone can't help her , the person shouldn't add to her burden. Honestly I tried to understand the situation and what she said I'm yet to fully understand it because I expect my mother to help her with the baby at least but with what my brother's wife said I don't think that is happening and at thesame time I don't want to invalidate my mother's feeling. My brother is not handling this situation well because now the house is on fire and my brother's wife seems to be unbothered.

Family meeting has been called twice on this matter and each time the wife will be sleeping on the live call. I don't want to look like a bad sister-in-law that's why I'm doing everything to be fair. I'm outside the country so I can't visit them.

What can I do in this situation? I need genuine advice

Part 3….

But I had no idea that the real shock was waiting for us all..

Five days later, the DNA results finally came out.

That evening, NEPA had taken light, and the entire house was dark except for the small rechargeable lamp sitting on the center table.

Rain was falling heavily outside.

Nobody spoke as my father entered the sitting room with a brown envelope in his hand.

The atmosphere felt deadly.

My mother looked pale and restless. She hadn’t slept properly since the day we went for the test. Even my brothers avoided eye contact with one another.

But me?

I was certain of one thing.

Favour was about to be exposed.

She sat quietly on the far couch, rubbing her fingers together nervously.

My father finally cleared his throat.

“The results are here,” he said.

Nobody moved.

You could literally hear the rain hitting the zinc outside.

Slowly, he opened the envelope.

His eyes scanned through the papers.

At first, his face showed nothing.

Then suddenly—

His expression changed.

The paper trembled slightly in his hand.

My mother stood up immediately.

“What is it?” she asked fearfully.

But my father didn’t answer.

Instead, he kept staring at the paper like he was seeing a ghost.

Fear slowly crept into my chest.

Something was wrong.

Very wrong.

“Daddy?” one of my brothers called softly.

Still no answer.

Then finally, my father looked up.

His eyes landed directly on Favour.

For a second, my heart nearly jumped out of my chest.

This was it.

But then he spoke.

And the words that came out almost stopped my breathing.

“Favour is my biological daughter.”

The room froze.

I blinked repeatedly.

“What?” I whispered.

That made no sense.

I quickly stood up and snatched the papers from his hand.

My eyes rushed through the results desperately.

First child…

Second child…

Third child…

Everything matched.

Then I got to my own result.

And suddenly, the whole room started spinning.

Probability of paternity: 0%.

I read it again.

And again.

My hands began shaking violently.

“No…” I muttered.

My brothers rushed over and grabbed the papers.

The moment they saw it, silence swallowed the room.

Dead silence.

Then slowly…

Everyone turned toward me.

My mother suddenly burst into uncontrollable tears.

Not normal crying.

This was the kind of cry that comes from years of hidden shame.

My father looked at her like he had never seen her before.

“You lied to me?” he asked quietly.

His voice was calm…

But somehow that calmness was more terrifying than shouting.

My mother fell to her knees immediately.

“I swear I didn’t know!” she cried loudly. “I thought she was yours!”

My heart pounded wildly inside my chest.

“What is she talking about?” I shouted.

Nobody answered immediately.

Then my mother finally confessed.

Many years ago, before their wedding in Aba, she and my father had broken up for some months after a serious misunderstanding.

During that period, she briefly got involved with another man.

When she later found out she was pregnant, she honestly believed the baby belonged to my father because the timing was close.

So she kept quiet.

And after marriage, the secret remained buried.

Until now.

The room exploded with emotions.

My brothers started shouting.

My mother kept begging.

Favour was crying heavily.

But I couldn’t hear anything clearly anymore.

Only one sentence kept repeating inside my head.

I am not his child.

I slowly turned toward Favour.

The same girl I had secretly judged for weeks.

The same girl I convinced myself didn’t belong to this family.

Meanwhile…

I was the outsider all along.

Suddenly, Favour stood up angrily.

“So all of you believed I was the fake child?” she cried bitterly.

Nobody spoke.

Because deep down, it was true.

She looked at me with so much disappointment before running inside her room.

At that moment, guilt hit me like a moving truck.

I had destroyed this family because of my suspicions.

Then something happened that made everyone even more emotional.

My father slowly stood up and walked toward me.

I stepped back immediately, expecting anger.

Or rejection.

Or insults.

But instead, he placed his hand on my shoulder.

His eyes were red with tears.

“I carried you when you were a baby,” he said quietly. “I paid your school fees. I stayed awake whenever you were sick.”

Tears rolled down my face instantly.

Then he said the words that broke everybody completely.

“DNA cannot change the fact that you are still my daughter.”

At that point, even my brothers started crying.

Outside, the rain continued falling heavily.

But inside that house, another storm had already destroyed everything forever.

That was the day I learned something painful:

Sometimes, the truth we desperately search for can destroy the very family we are trying to protect.
