This speaks to effort not romantic love. Romantic love alone doesn’t a successful marriage make. Effort is key. There’s nothing quite as beautiful as spouses giving their marriage their best shot and not expecting one party to do most of the work. This is one reason why newly weds need to live alone for awhile without the presence of 3rd parties in the home in order to get used to each other. How long the adjustment period lasts depends on the maturity of both parties and the willingness to compromise.
