TALES was everything. And more.

Ibudo Itura our sanctuary of ease came alive the previous weekend in London and the energy in that room is something I will carry with me for a very long time.

To everyone who walked through and experienced Tade and Gigàedumare for the first time, thank you. Watching you smell these fragrances and seeing your faces say what words couldn't that was the whole point.

For those who couldn't make it we hear you. And we have you covered.

Tade and Gigàedumare are now available to order and we will post directly to you while we are still here in the UK 🇬🇧

Link in bio to order. Or simply send us a DM and we will take care of you personally

Day 3 at TALES felt like the soft closing of a beautiful chapter, a final inhale, a final exhale, a final offering of who we are.

Today, I watched people meet our perfumes with open hearts:
the surprise in their eyes,
the warmth in their smiles,
the way they leaned in as if scent itself was speaking to them.
And in every interaction, I felt Hotoro, Kano the place where my own scent story began.

In Africa, especially in the North, perfumery is not performance.
It is inheritance.
It is the quiet ritual of mothers and aunties,
the oils rubbed into our skin before school,
the black soap that carried the scent of home,
the butters that softened us against the sun,
the scrubs that prepared us for celebration.
Scent is how we remember.
Scent is how we honour.
Scent is how we become.

And today, in London, people felt that truth.
They experienced perfumes without alcohol
oils that bloom slowly, intimately, honestly.
They touched our body butter, our black soap, our caramel scrub, and understood that African skincare is not a trend it is a melody of tradition.

Day 3 was our final day,
but it felt like a beginning.
A moment where African perfumery stood tall,
rooted, confident, and beautifully ours.

Thank you, London, for listening with your senses.
Thank you for letting our heritage rest on your skin.
Thank you for meeting Deezmundu with love.

The exhibition ends,
but the story continues.

A drop of oil, a world of memory.
In deezmund's world, scent is not worn — it’s lived.
Deezmundu perfume oils carry the quiet power of tradition, where luxury begins with heritage and lingers on skin like prayer.
Titi's story is special and she is a bright fruit, rich florals, a warm, surprising finish — bold, modest, and always becoming.

The power of smell is powerful!!!

Late last year, I went through something that shook me to my core. I won't go into the details but there was a day, in the middle of it all, when I was burning incense. Cinnamon. Cloves. Sandalwood.

The smell took me somewhere.

I remembered a fragrance I had buried three years before and something made me go and find it. The moment I opened it and took that first whiff I wasn't in that room anymore.

I was back in Hotoro, kano north western Nigeria. In my parents' library. Surrounded by books. I could smell my mother's perfume. I could smell the fragrance my father loved bourbon leather, birch tar and wood.

I felt them.

And in that moment, something bigger than me said be still, and know that I am God.

That was the beginning of Olúwatádé and Gigàedumare.

Olúwatádé — Tade — means God is worthy of royalty. It is warm, woody, spicy and polished. Rare oud, cardamom, sandalwood, rosewood, vanilla and tonka bean. The fragrance of quiet sovereignty.

Gigàedumare — Giga — means the greatness of God. A warm, gourmand embrace of creamy vanilla, rich caramel, oud and amber. I describe it as a cozy, luxurious, warm hug because that's exactly what it felt like when I needed it most.

We are launching both at TALES — the African lifestyle experience on July 31st in London. We are calling our space there Ibudo Itura. The sanctuary of ease.

Because that is what scent does. It stills you. It carries you. It heals you.

That is the Deezmundu story. And we cannot wait to share it with you.

There are brands… and then there are stories.
Deezmundu has always been the latter.

We are a house built on memory, on ancestry, on the quiet power of scent and skin & heritage.
A house that believes fragrance is not just something you wear, it is something you remember.
Something that calls you home.

Our perfumes and skincare are crafted from emotion, from lived experience, from the sacred intimacy of African botanicals. We do not create for trends. We create for the soul. Every blend, every oil, every note is intentional — gender‑blind, moment driven, rooted in the textures of our continent and the tenderness of human experience.

This weekend, at TALES — The African Lifestyle Experience, we open the doors to something deeper:

Ìbùdó Ìtùrà — The Sanctuary of Ease.
A three‑day immersion into scent, calm, and culture.

Expect warmth.
Expect storytelling.
Expect fragrances born from memory including two new creations shaped by stillness, childhood, and divine reassurance.
Expect skincare that feels like ritual, not routine.
Expect a space where scent becomes a language… and you become part of the story.

If you have ever wondered what Deezmundu feels like
not just smells like, not just looks like, this is your moment.
