YOU NEED STRENGTH AND COURAGE

BIBLE TEXT: Joshua 1:1-11

Josh. 1:6 (NLT)
"Be strong and courageous, for you will lead My people to possess all the land I swore to give their ancestors."

Josh. 1:9 (NLT)
"I command you--be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

It takes courage to wait on God, pursue your dreams, and live in the reality of God's promises for your life.

Everyone can dream. Everyone can set goals. Everyone can write down a vision. Everyone can decide to change their habits. However, a decision is meaningless without action.

The opposite of courage is fear. Many people have allowed the fear of the unknown to steal their dreams, purpose, and ideas.

Take a moment to examine your life. How many unfinished projects do you have? How many dreams did you write down but never pursue? How many God-given purposes have died because of fear and excuses? Your answers will reveal your level of strength and courage.

MEMORY VERSE
Josh. 1:9 (NLT)
I command you--be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (NLT)

DECLARATION
I am a Kingdom prince/princess.
I do not live a life of timidity.
I pursue my dreams and God's purpose for my life unapologetically.
I am the light of the world.
Hallelujah! 🙌

IS THIS WHY SOME LADIES ARE STILL SINGLE? 😳😩😭

Before you read further, hide your plate of jollof. This post may offend your appetite ⚠️ 🤣🤣

Facebook randomly brought one of Veekee James' bridal transformation videos to my timeline 😍💃

You know those videos where she sews the traditional outfit, then the bride steps out looking like she personally downloaded beauty from heaven? 😍🔥

This bride was slim, dark, elegant, chai! I was busy shouting "Awwwn! Awwwn!! Awwwn!!!" in my head and admiring God's workmanship. 🙌🥰❤️

Then, curiosity carried me to the comment section. 😭

Big mistake.

One man dropped a comment that nearly made me swallow my tongue. 😂

He wrote something like:

"Ladies, pay attention. Most of these brides are slim. But you, it's not even 11:00 a.m. and you've already eaten three times." 🍗🍔🍛🤣

Omo, the comment section became a battleground 😭

Some ladies were typing with tears 😭
Some were typing with anger 🤬
Some were typing while chewing 🌚😂

I laughed, then I paused 🤔

The comment actually made me think.

Come to think of it, many of the bridal videos that flood my timeline do feature slim brides ✍️

Then I remembered something from my own business 😁

I've been selling wedding and proposal rings for years, and guess what? 💍

The sizes that sell out the fastest are usually the smaller sizes. In fact, I got to a point where I practically stopped stocking very large ring sizes because they hardly moved 😩

Now I'm genuinely curious 🤔

Is it really true that most men prefer to marry slim ladies? 💍

Or are slim ladies simply the ones posting wedding content the most? 😂

Ladies, please don't throw your spoon at me 🍽️😩🤣
I'm only asking questions, I didn't write the comment 😭🏃‍♀️💨

Men, over to you 👏
Ladies, please let's flog this topic once and for all 😭🤣🏃‍♀️

Is being slim secretly an advantage in the marriage market, or is this just another social media myth? Let's hear the truth. 👇

"THE DANGER OF ENVY"

BIBLE TEXT: Genesis 30:1 - 2

Gen. 30:1 When Rachel saw that she wasn't having any children, she became jealous of her sister. "Give me children, or I'll die!" she exclaimed to Jacob. (NLT)

Gen. 30:2 Jacob flew into a rage. "Am I God?" he asked. "He is the only one able to give you children!" (NLT)

Envy will kill your joy and push you into desperation. If you are not careful, you may sabotage the beautiful things God has prepared for you because of envy.

It is easy to compare yourself with others when things are not going well for you. You may begin to ask yourself, "Why is he or she married while I'm still single?" "Why is he or she successful when I can't seem to get my life together?" When you allow comparison to take root in your heart, it can lead to envy, and God hates envy.

Celebrate others and rejoice with them when they seem to be in their season of answered prayers. At the same time, remain expectant because God also has beautiful things in store for you. Life is in seasons, and there is an appointed time for every breakthrough.

Delay does not mean denial. It simply means God is preparing something better and greater for you. Rachel's son, Joseph, came later in life, yet he became the most influential of all Jacob's sons.

MEMORY VERSE
Gen. 30:1 When Rachel saw that she wasn't having any children, she became jealous of her sister. "Give me children, or I'll die!" she exclaimed to Jacob. (NLT)

DECLARATION
I am a Kingdom prince/princess.
I believe in God's appointed time and season.
I do not envy others; I live a life of joy and expectancy.
I am destined for greater blessings.
Hallelujah! 🙌

"DO NOT SET TRAPS FOR OTHERS"

BIBLE TEXT: Proverbs 26: 26 - 27

Proverbs 26:26 (NLT)
"While their hatred may be concealed by trickery, it will finally come to light for all to see."

Proverbs 26:27 (NLT)
"If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will roll back and crush you."

Resist the temptation to set traps for others, no matter how much they have wronged you. The tables may turn unexpectedly, and you may find yourself at the receiving end of the very trap you intended for someone else.

Do not waste your precious and productive time concocting evil schemes. God is the righteous Judge and the rewarder of every deed. He knows how to reward the righteous and punish unrepentant evildoers in His own perfect time.

David never planned evil against Saul because he understood that God is a righteous Judge. In the end, Saul met a divinely ordained judgment. Likewise, Haman thought he was erecting a gallows for his enemy, but he ended up being hanged on it instead. What a man sows, he will surely reap.

MEMORY VERSE
Proverbs 26:27 (NLT)
"If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will roll back and crush you."

DECLARATION
I am a Kingdom prince/princess.
My Father is the Righteous Judge, and I rely on His judgment.
I will not set traps for others.
God is my Defender.
Hallelujah! 🙌

BLESSINGS OF THE CALLED

BIBLE TEXT: Romans 8:28 - 31

Romans 8:28 (NLT)
"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."

Romans 8:30 (NLT)
"And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And he gave them right standing with himself, and he promised them his glory."

If only young people understood the benefits of walking in God's purpose, they would be intentional about discovering and fulfilling His calling for their lives.

God intentionally loves, preserves, and blesses those He has called because He is deeply invested in them. They are His representatives on earth, chosen to bring glory to His name.

Do you desire to live an honored and blessed life? Then be intentional about discovering, embracing, and fulfilling God's purpose for your life. Those who answer God's call and walk faithfully in His purpose enjoy His guidance, favor, preservation, and everlasting glory.

MEMORY VERSE
Romans 8:30 (NLT)
"And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And he gave them right standing with himself, and he promised them his glory."

DECLARATION

I discover and explore God's purpose for my life.

"IGNORANCE IS DANGEROUS"

BIBLE TEXT: Proverbs 9: 11-12

Prov.9.12 If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you will bear it alone." (NKJV)

Prov.9.13 A foolish woman is clamorous; She is simple, and knows nothing. (NKJV)

Ignorance is no longer bliss in our dispensation. So many people that scorn knowledge have paid with their lives, family, businesses, and reputation.

How much you know will determine the quality of your life, and the quality of people around you. If you think knowledge is expensive, you should ask for the price of ignorance.

So many people have passed on because they ate the wrong thing, used the wrong drugs, visited the wrong health facility, worshipped in the wrong worship center, believe in the wrong doctrine, associate with the wrong people, marry the wrong person, etc. You cannot afford to be ignorant.

It is better and safer to have the knowledge you don't need, than to need the knowledge you don't have. You need to know much about everything.

MEMORY VERSE
Prov.9.13 The woman named Folly is loud and brash. She is ignorant and doesn't even know it. (NLT)

DECLARATION
I'm a kingdom prince/princess.
I am endowed with knowledge.
I have the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
I do not pay the price of ignorance.

THUR. 16TH OF JULY, 2026.

"PURITY AND CROWNS"

BIBLE TEXT: Luke 1: 26 - 30

Luke.1.26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, (NLT)

Luke.1.27 to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. (NLT)

Luke.1.28 Gabriel appeared to her and said, "Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you! " (NLT)

Mary remains the most popular and well reverenced woman in the world today. Nations sings her name in worship, and there is a religion dedicated to her adoration.

Mary was like any other woman in Nazareth, but what set her apart was her purity and reverence for God. There had been a prophecy ever before Mary was born, that the Savior will be conceived by a virgin. What qualified Mary for that position of light was her purity.

The value of purity has been underestimated in our Generation today, so many people carry the erroneous belief that you can live in immorality and still please God.

When God was looking for someone to conceive His son, a pure virgin was chosen. When God was looking for someone to save the Jews during the dispensation of Ahasuerus the king, a young beautiful virgin called Hadassah was also chosen to wear the crown.

As a single lady desiring to please the Lord, you have to understand that living a life of purity is not because virginity is a gift for husbands; It is because purity is a command from God. Your purity pleases God first, and qualifies you for uncommon favors.

MEMORY VERSE
Luke.1.27 to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. (NLT)

DECLARATION
I'm a kingdom prince/princess.
I live a pure and Holy life.
My body is the temple of God, and I do not dishonor it.
I'm destined for greatness.
Hallelujah🙌

WED. 14TH OF JULY, 2026.

"BLESSING WITHOUT SORROW"

BIBLE TEXT: Proverbs 10: 22

Prov.10.22 The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. (NLT)

There are different kinds of blessings, but only one blessing bring peace: the blessings of the Lord.

Blessings from God does not only make you prosperous, it gives the ability to enjoy your health with peace of mind. God blesses you in a way that won't hurt others, and that won't go against His commandments.

If you have to hurt others, if you have to cause pain and suffering to get riches, then it is not from the Lord.

Breaking God's commandments can bring sorrow to His heart because of the love He has for you. If you have to break God's heart to get a breakthrough, then it's not from God. Such blessings that are not from God brings sorrow.

MEMORY VERSE
Prov.10.22 The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. (NLT)

DECLARATION
I'm a kingdom prince/princess.
I attract blessings not curses.
The blessings of the Lord is upon my life, business, and doings.
I'm the delight of my Father.

HOW I LOST RUBY by Sarah Adeniji

EPISODE 3

I got to Elhoro Junction by 10:30AM

Every passing minute felt like an hour.

I sat quietly in front of a closed shop, pretending to scroll through my phone while my eyes searched every face that walked past.

What if she doesn’t come?

What if Bim Bim set me up for nothing?

Then, exactly 11:00AM, they appeared.

Four ladies.

Matching oversized polo shirts with one bold inscription across the chest:

JESUS SAVES.

Ruby was walking behind the others.

The moment I saw her, my heartbeat betrayed me.

She looked even more fuller than I remembered. Her full upper body, almost made me shook.

“Can someone like this ever fall for a guy like me?” I wondered.

But I had already come too far to back out.

As they approached where I sat, Bim Bim suddenly changed direction and walked straight toward me.

The others including Ruby followed.

This was it.

The game had begun.

“Brother, we’ve come to share the love of God with you,” Bim Bim said with the most innocent smile I had ever seen.

I almost laughed.

If only Ruby knew this “holy encounter” had been rehearsed less than twenty-four hours ago.

I forced my face into a frown.

“Sorry, not today. I don’t have time.”

Exactly the response Bim Bim had instructed me to give.

She didn’t flinch.

“The Son of God died for you. There is salvation in Jesus.”

If I hadn’t known Bim Bim personally, If I hadn’t known the conspiracy she, myself, and my friend Folly cooked up, I would have sworn she was born again.

I folded my arms.

“Why should I believe in this Jesus of yours?”

Silence.

For a split second, nobody spoke.

Then I turned and looked straight at Ruby.

She wasn’t expecting it.

Our eyes met.

Just for a moment.

She blushed.

A tiny blush, but I caught it.

She quickly looked away as though nothing had happened.

Interesting, I smiled.

“Sister,” I pointed gently at Ruby.

“Do you think I should accept Jesus too?”

She hesitated.

Then she stepped forward.

“Everyone needs Jesus, bro…”

I interrupted with a grin.

“Mike.”

She smiled politely.

“Bro Mike, only Jesus has the answers to the problems of this world.”

There was something about the way she spoke.

No pressure.

Just sincerity.

I leaned closer.

“So you’re saying, this Jesus can solve my problems?”

“Of course.”

She answered without blinking.

By now, the other ladies had stopped talking completely.

Even passersby slowed down to watch us.

I stood up slowly.

“Well, I’m actually going somewhere now.”

Disappointment flashed across Ruby’s face.

“Wait, Bro Mike!”

Her voice came quickly.

“What if tomorrow is too late? You shouldn’t postpone your salvation.”

That line almost made me abandon the mission and genuinely give my life to Christ.

Almost.

I smiled.

“Tell you what,”

I reached into my pocket.

“Why don’t you collect my number? You can call me whenever you’re free and tell me more about Jesus.”

Before Ruby could respond, another lady spoke.

“No. You need to meet Deacon Kolapo. He’s in charge of evangelism.”

The moment I heard Deacon Kolapo, alarms went off in my head. That name sounded dangerous.

Like the kind of man who could look into your eyes, see through your gimmicks, expose every lie you’ve ever told, cast out every demon you didn’t know you had, and still insist on seven days of fasting afterward.

I shook my head immediately.

“I don’t want any deacon.”

The ladies exchanged confused glances.

Then I looked directly into Ruby’s eyes.

“I want you.”

The atmosphere changed.

Nobody moved.

Nobody spoke.

Even Bim Bim looked shocked, though she knew this was part of the plan.

For a few long seconds, Ruby simply stared at me.

Then, to everyone’s surprise, she slowly reached into her handbag.

Pulled out her phone.

Unlocked it.

And held it out to me.

“You can save your number.”

Her voice was barely above a whisper.

“I’ll call you, and invite you to church.”

The entire evangelism team froze.

So did I.

Because something told me, Ruby had just broken one of their strictest rules.

And none of us knew what that single decision was about to cost.

"CITY ON THE MOUNTAIN"

BIBLE TEXT: Matthew 5: 13-15

Matt.5.13 "You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it useful again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. (NLT)

Matt.5.14 You are the light of the world--like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. (NLT)

Matt.5.15 Don't hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all. (NLT)

As a child of God, you should be able to differentiate between timidity and humility. There are so many gifted and talented youths that never attained their full potential because of timidity.

Some youths cannot differentiate between low self esteem and humility. Getting recognition for your good given potential brings glory to God. It is not pride to know who you are and tell people what you can do.

To attain your full potential, you must develop your talent, and let the world realize you are the original. It's time to arise and shine so that you can bring glory to the kingdom.

MEMORY VERSE
Matt.5.14 You are the light of the world--like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. (NLT)

DECLARATION
I'm a kingdom prince/princess.
I'm the light and salt of the world.
I'm a city on the mountain that cannot be hidden.
I bring glory and honour to God.
Hallelujah🙌
