Still, keep your smile, not the loud, picture-perfect smile but just that small, steady one you give yourself when things feel tight.

The interesting part is this: your brain does not fully know the difference between a forced smile and a real one. When you lift the corners of your mouth, even slightly, your body can begin to release chemicals that support calm and lift your mood. Sometimes the body leads, and the feelings follow.

Deadlines may be staring at you.
Bills may be waiting.
Expectations may feel heavy.
Yet in the middle of it, you can pause, breathe, and allow a smile. That tiny action tells your nervous system to relax.
