What happens when we stop seeing girls only as people who need protection and start seeing them as future leaders, decision-makers, professionals and change-makers?
We create space for them to discover what they can become.

But potential needs support. A girl needs opportunities to learn, access to good health, safety, encouragement and people who will believe in her, even when she is still finding her voice.

Investing in girls is not just about helping one girl. It is about shaping the kind of families, communities and country we will have tomorrow.

So, let’s not wait until she becomes a leader before we support her leadership.

Give her the opportunity today. Her tomorrow will speak for itself.

Day 16 of the Belle by Choice Movement Annual Campaign 2026.

What is one opportunity you believe every girl deserves?

A girl doesn’t grow in isolation.

What she hears at home, what she experiences in school, what adults tell her, and what her community chooses to tolerate can all shape the decisions she makes about her life.

That is why this conversation cannot be left to girls and young women alone.

Parents, teachers, faith leaders, community leaders, men, women—we all have a part to play.

Sometimes change begins with something as simple as listening without judging, answering questions honestly, protecting instead of blaming, and making sure a girl knows that her voice matters.

So today, let’s look beyond “What should she do?”

Let’s also ask:
“What are we doing around her that makes it easier for her to make informed choices?”

The communities we build around girls today can influence the possibilities they see for tomorrow.

Day 15 | Belle by Choice Movement Annual Campaign 2026

What role can you play in building a community where girls are heard, protected and supported?

DAY 14 — WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?

When an unintended pregnancy happens, why is the first question often: “Woman, why did you allow yourself to get pregnant?”

But pregnancy does not happen with one person.

Today, we want to challenge the idea that preventing pregnancy and planning a family are responsibilities that should be carried by women alone.

Men have a role too, not only when a pregnancy happens, but before it happens.

If you and your partner have agreed that you are not ready for a child, or that your family is complete, what are you as a man doing to support that decision?

Are you willing to talk about contraception?
Will you use protection?
Will you seek accurate information together?
Or do you simply leave everything to her and blame her when something goes wrong?

This is the conversation we want families, couples and young people to start having.

Belle by Choice means responsibility must come before blame.

And throughout that conversation, one principle remains non-negotiable:
Her Body, Her Choice, Her Bodily Autonomy.

DAY 13 | MEN AS ALLIES 🤝🏾

Being an ally is not just about what a man says, it is also about what he does when nobody is watching.

Sometimes, the change starts among men themselves.

It means having the courage to tell a friend, “That is not okay,” when he jokes about s*xual pressure, excuses violence, mocks a girl for setting boundaries, or treats pregnancy as only a woman's responsibility.
It means raising boys to understand that masculinity is not control, silence or entitlement.

It means creating relationships where both people can communicate, ask questions, make decisions and respect each other's boundaries.

And it means men standing beside girls and women without speaking over them or taking away their voice.

Men don't have to be the centre of the conversation to be part of the solution.

They can use their influence to make the conversation safer.

Today, we are calling on men and boys to move beyond being spectators.
Listen, Challenge, Respect, Support, and Lead the differently.

Because when men become allies, the culture around them can begin to change.

💜 MEN, BE PART OF THE SOLUTION.

You can still be part of the campaign and be a voice for the voiceless girls, today, on Day 8 of the #10,000Men – Give Belle by Choice, Not by Force Challenge, we are calling on men and boys to redefine strength through respect, responsibility and positive masculinity.

Being a man is not about control, pressure or violence. It is about respecting boundaries, supporting dreams, rejecting s*xual violence and standing up when the rights of women and girls are threatened.

Whether married or unmarried, every woman and girl deserves the right to make informed decisions about her body, her health and her future free from force, violence, exploitation and stigma.

We call on men, boys, parents, communities, schools, government institutions, civil society, faith leaders, media and development partners to stand with us.
10,000 men, One powerful message: HER CHOICE MUST BE RESPECTED.

Join the movement, Speak up, and Challenge harmful norms.

Be the man who protects choice, not the one who takes it away.

Men Give Belle by Choice, Not by Force.

03/09/2026

If girls have reproductive choices, why are so many adolescent girls still experiencing unintended pregnancies?

Maybe the question is not only “What choice did she make?”

Maybe we should also ask: Did she have the information, access, safety, power and support to truly make that choice?

Watch today’s video and join the conversation.

Choice is not meaningful when the conditions to exercise it are missing.

What do you think?
Tell us in the comment section

01/09/2026

A man can take away a woman’s reproductive choice without physically forcing s*x.

When he refuses to use protection.
When he sabotages or controls contraception.
When he pressures her to have a child.
When he refuses to respect her “NO.”
When economic, emotional or cultural pressure is used to influence her reproductive decisions.

So, what does really mean?

It means responsibility, Respect, Consent and Partnership.

Today, as the Belle By Choice Movement launches its 2026 campaign, I am asking men to be part of the solution.

Real love does not force.
Real love respects choice.

What does mean to YOU?

Let's talk about it.
