WHY YOU MUST NOT TRUST EVERYBODY ⚠️
Not everyone who smiles with you truly wishes you well. Not everyone who calls you “my friend” is your friend. And not everyone who knows your secrets will protect them.
Life teaches us that trust should be earned, not freely given.
Some people will come close to you only to study your weaknesses. Some will support you when everything is going well, but disappear when you need them most. Others may even use the information you shared with them against you when things change.
This does not mean you should hate people or become heartless. It simply means you should have wisdom.
Be friendly, but have boundaries.
Love people, but don't depend on everybody.
Help others, but don't allow yourself to be used.
Forgive people, but don't ignore repeated patterns.
Keep some things private, because not every detail of your life needs an audience.
Remember: trust is like a glass—once broken, it may never return to exactly what it was.
The right people will respect your boundaries, celebrate your progress, protect your name when you're not there, and correct you without destroying you.
So, don't trust everybody. Trust wisely. Watch people's actions more than their words, because character is revealed by what people consistently do.
💭 Have you ever trusted someone and later regretted it? What did that experience teach you?
May God give us wisdom to recognize genuine people and the strength to walk away from those who don't mean us well.
