As a young man before you take the lady to propose the lady already knows

8. HINGE YOUR PROPOSAL TO THINGS THAT MATTER TO HER

Tell her things that make her stand out and things unique to her, proposal is carnal

9. BEFORE PROPOSAL PREPARE FOR FAVOURABLE AND UNFAVOURABLE ANSWER

Have a backup plan and be ready for negative response even if you saw her in your dream

10. AFTER PROPOSING DO NOT INSIST ON AN INSTANT ANSWER... LEAVE THE BALL IN HER COURT

The lady may need time to consult her discipler, friends , parents or even want to pray about it... give her time

When you're harassing her with plenty calls, texts or gifts to make her change her mind.. give her space. If she will say yes, she will, it's not by multitude of disturbances

12. INCASE THE ANSWER DELAYS, DO NOT THREATEN HER WHEN YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF CONVERSING

Why are you keeping me waiting? do you know how many sisters are harassing me to go with them?

This is not polite and this is not courtesy

13. UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM HER IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO PROPOSE TO ANOTHER LADY.

These sisters have a way of discussing with themselves even if they don't know themselves. Don't spoil your good name by proposing to more than 5 sisters at the same time

14. LADIES TRY NOT TO KEEP HIM HANGING FOR MORE THAN TWO WEEKS.

No answer should linger for too long. Ladies you can politely say NO and the man would still have his dignity or honor. One month should be okay if there are other unforseen circumstances.

1. FRIENDSHIP WATERS THE GROUND

Make sure you marry your friend , it's really sweet when it's a friend you're considering for marriage because it will be easy to propose and easy for the friend to accept you.

2. INFORM YOUR DISCIPLER BEFORE YOU PROPOSE TO ANY LADY
As a single you've not been married before, it's adviceable you submit to a discipler so they can tell you where there are potholes

3. PARENTAL CONSENT IS ADVISABLE

Make sure your parents are aware of who you want to propose to, in extreme situations where the person is coming from a tribe the don't want so you'll begin to pray early so the heart fo your parents will be favorably disposed towards you

4. WEAR A FAVOURABLE PERFUME AND A CLEAN BREATH ON THE DAY YOU ARE TO PROPOSE

Never begin your day with unprotected armpit. 😹😹😹😹

5. DO THE BEST YOU CAN TO PROPOSE IN A SERENE ENVIRONMENT
Rely on the Holyspirit to choose the right place, time and method of proposal in such a way that the lady will be pleased

SERMON: ATTITUDES YOU SHOULD NOT CARRY INTO MARRIAGE CONTD.

The principle of courtship is that ladies should not and and the young man should not wait to be asked before he gives.

Ladies should avoid toxic relationships where they're being beaten.

A former famous footballer of the year was divorced by his wife because he was too good. This means they grew up in a home where they saw this prototype. Their idea of a man showing them love is "Beating".

4. PRIDE
A Pridefully person is someone that finds it difficult to apologize.

In marriage you will have to apologize for things you did and things you didn't do.

Constant quarrelling, beating, body shaming and insults are all evidence a of toxic person.

You do not want to raise children in a toxic home, it will make them dysfunctional.

5. Do Not Marry Because of s*x only
The consequences of having s*x is raising kids, if you are not ready for the responsibilities that comes with childbearing please do not get married... you can still fulfill your destiny without being married

7. UnForgiveness

Practice forgiveness, learn to forgive people for the sins they've not committed against you. Unforgiveness kills marriages faster. In this world offenses are much!

SERMON: ATTITUDES YOU SHOULD NOT CARRY INTO MARRIAGE

1. Do Not Carry A Competitive Spirit Into Your Marriage

Only compete about who does good first

For example who greets first, who does domestic work better etc

These are healthy competitions

But having a competitive spirit that's selfish and over material things that has no eternal value will scatter the home

2. Focus On Constructive Feedback Not Negative Criticism

Constructive criticism - telling your spouse what they are doing well before telling them what they need to improve upon; that is constructive criticism

Also know when to administer this criticism... not when they are tired and worn out.

Never compare your spouse with other people such as an ex, parents, siblings or friends

You can correct your wife's cooking by just exposing her to recipes instead of saying "This is not how my mother used to do it!"

3. Selfishness
Being selfish can end your marriage... You should make sacrifices for your partner in marriage
