CUSTECH TEACHING HOSPITAL CMD GREETS MUSLIM FAITHFUL ON EID KABIR

In a warm and uplifting message, the Chief Medical Director of CUSTECH Teaching Hospital, Dr.Shaibu Stephen Babatunde, extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Eid Kabir, also known as Eid al-Adha.Nothing that this crucial festival symbolizing faith, devotion, and sacrifice.

Dr. Shaibu highlighted the significance of Eid Kabir as a time for reflection, gratitude, and acts of kindness. “Eid Kabir is not just a celebration; it is an opportunity to strengthen our bonds with family, friends, and the community,” he stated. “Let us emulate the spirit of sacrifice and generosity that this occasion embodies.”

In his message, the CMD urged the community to come together in unity and compassion, reminding everyone of the importance of caring for those less fortunate. “As we gather to celebrate, let us also remember those in need and extend our hands of fellowship to support them,” he added.

CUSTECH TEACHING HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT AND OHI OF OKENE OVERSEE HANDOVER OF INCINERATOR TO CONSULTANT

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of CUSTECH Teaching Hospital Okene, Dr. Shaibu Stephen Babatunde, alongside the hospital's top management and the Ohi of Okene,Alh. Dr. Isah Maman, attended the official handing over of an incinerator from the contractor to the consultant.

An incinerator is a specialized facility designed to burn waste materials at high temperatures, transforming solid waste into ash, flue gases, and heat. This process will significantly reduces waste volume but also enhance safe disposal of it

During the handing over, the Ohi of Okene, Alh.Dr. Isah Maman, commended the contractor for their outstanding and impressive work and expressed gratitude to the state government for its continued support and investment in the hospital. He humorously referenced Oliver Twist, stating their desire for further assistance from the government. He also assured attendees that the Ohinoyi of Ebira land would be present for the project's official commissioning and acknowledged the CMD's efforts, emphasizing the positive developments that have taken place under his led administration.

The lead contractor shared that they would not only hand over the completed project but would also provide training for hospital staff to ensure they acquire the necessary skills to operate the incinerator effectively.

In response, the CMD expressed his appreciation for the contractor's high-quality work and reaffirmed the hospital's commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to the community while ensuring safe waste disposal for a healthier environment.

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of CUSTECH Teaching Hospital, Okene, alongside some members of the hospital management team, paid a courtesy and congratulatory visit to the Chief Medical Director of Federal Teaching Hospital Lokoja (FTHL) and his management team.

The purpose of the visit was to formally congratulate and welcome the CMD on his appointment, as well as to discuss areas of collaboration and synergy between the two institutions for mutual growth and development.

The meeting was fruitful and cordial. During the discussions, the CMD of FTHL expressed his willingness and commitment to support our hospital in all necessary ways to ensure that our Teaching Hospital achieves its set goals and objectives.

Management appreciates the warm reception accorded to our team and looks forward to a productive relationship between the two institutions.

OFFICIAL VISIT BY FEDERAL UNIVERSITY LOKOJA MEDICAL STUDENT ASSOCIATION TO THE CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR of CUSTECH TEACHING HOSPITAL OKENE

The visit was led by the association's president, Mr. Kumuyi Precious Temilola, alongside Senate President Miss Yahaya Nimatulah Ohunene.
