A HEARTWARMING TRIBUTE TO THE OLUKARE OF IKARE

I had the honor of visiting my father, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Akadri Adekadejo Momoh IV, JP, CFR, CON, the Olukare of Ikare Akoko, at his palace, accompanied by members of Santos humanitarian Organization and distinguished leaders. We were warmly welcomed by my mother, the Queen of Ikare land, Olori Ibiwunmi Joanna Momoh IV, and other palace dignitaries.

High Chief Elemeje of Okela, Mr. Mustapha Balewa, and the Directorate of Media and Public Affairs to the Olukare of Ikare Kingdom, Omoba Adeshina Momoh, led us to the palace for a royal audience with the Olukare. We expressed our deepest gratitude for his tireless efforts in promoting peace and progress in Ikare community. I also shared the impactful work of Santos humanitarian Organization, which has transformed the lives of many in Ikare Akoko.

During our discussion, we emphasized the importance of empowering indigenous sons and daughters to invest in their homeland. We also explored innovative ways to foster peace, betterment, and progress in Ikare Akoko. I was commended by some chiefs for my humanitarian work, particularly in education, and I pledged to continue investing in the future leaders of our community.

May God bless Ikare Akoko. As I always say, regardless of our background or circumstances, we must strive for progress and unity. I remain committed to ensuring that Ikare Akoko remains a beacon of hope and prosperity.

A VISIT TO MY FATHER HOUSE ULÍ-PÁNÙGBORO Ọ̀KELÀ

Empowered by the transformative power of community and the enduring principle that charity begins at home, I embarked on a heartfelt journey to my ancestral home, Uli-panugboro Okela, the revered seat of the Owalukare Royal Family clan of Ilekalu dynasty.
There, I was met with warm hospitality and open arms by my kinsmen, offspring, and family members, who shared my vision for a brighter, more prosperous future.

This gathering served as a powerful platform for me to declare my intention to run for the Member of the House of Representatives representing Akoko Northeast and Akoko Northwest Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections and reaffirm my commitment to continue driving meaningful change in our community.

My family welcomed my aspiration with enthusiasm, acknowledging the tangible impact of my humanitarian work and pledging their unwavering support. The meeting was followed by an afternoon of joyous celebration, strengthening the bonds of kinship and shared purpose.

For years, I have been a household name across Akoko land, not because I held political office, but because I held on to humanity, empowering countless individuals and families through my projects, restoring hope, and inspiring a brighter future.

On this glorious occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, I, HON. OLUYINKA JAMES OLATUNDE (Santos), join millions of compatriots at home and abroad to celebrate our dear nation. Sixty-five years of journey as a people has been marked with trials and triumphs, yet we stand resilient, hopeful, and united in our resolve to build a greater Nigeria.

As we reflect on our past and chart the course for the future, it is important to acknowledge the inspiring leadership and visionary direction of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Renewed Hope Agenda has rekindled confidence in our democracy, repositioning Nigeria on the path of economic reforms, infrastructure development, and social transformation.

In the same light, I celebrate our dynamic governor, His Excellency, Dr. Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa whose purposeful governance in Ondo State has further demonstrated that the Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan, but a practical blueprint for good governance. His strides in infrastructure, education, health, and youth empowerment are clear testimonies of responsive leadership.

As a son of Akoko North, I am inspired by this model of service. My passion has always been to translate leadership into opportunities for the people — empowering the vulnerable, lifting the downtrodden, and giving our youth the platform to thrive.
