HEMATURIA (Bleeding when Urinating)
Hematuria is the medical terms for blood in the urine.It may signal a urinary tract infection (UTI), but there are many other benign and malignant causes for this reason, Hematuria always warranty a medical evaluation.
Hematuria can also occur as a result of an infection, vigorous exercise, prostate infection and kidney disease.
DIAGNOSIS AND TESTS
*Urinalysis 》A test on a urine sample.

TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT
*For an enlarged prostate, urologist typically uses two classes of medications to treat this condition 1 alpha-blockers and
the 5 alpha reductase inhibitors.
*For hematuria caused by infections, your health care provider may prescribe an antibiotics. These antibiotics work by k the bacteria causing the infection, which should stop the bleeding.
*For kidney disease, your health care provider may prescribe several different types of medications, these may include Diuretics drugs to lower blood pressure and cholesterol and erythropoietin to build red blood cells if you are anaemic.
*For endometriosis, your health care provider may suggest hormone-related medications.
However certain actions may increase your chances of having blood in your urine. These include
