HEALTH COMMISSIONER INSPECTS 30-BED ULTRA-MODERN HOSPITAL AHEAD OF HANDOVER TO IMO STATE
The Imo State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Chioma Egu, alongside the CEO of Heartland Hospital Management, Dr. Emmanuel Ogueri, has conducted a pre-commissioning inspection of the newly completed 30-bed ultra-modern hospital in Assa, Ohaji, built and furnished by Renaissance Energy Company for their host community ahead of its handover to the Imo State Government.
During the inspection, officials assessed the facility’s readiness to commence operations, describing the project as a major boost to healthcare delivery in the state.
Dr. Chioma Vivian Egu expressed profound gratitude to Renaissance Energy Company for its commitment to giving back to its host communities through strategic investments in healthcare. She noted that the hospital would significantly improve access to quality medical services for residents while complementing the state’s efforts to strengthen the health sector.
Renaissance Energy Company also announced plans to partner with the Imo State Health Insurance Scheme by adopting beneficiaries for healthcare services. As part of the initiative, the company will provide five days of free medical care, including surgical procedures, to selected residents, reaffirming its commitment to improving access to quality healthcare in host communities.
