🤰 Why might a pregnant woman need a Caesarean delivery?

Many women hope for a vaginal birth, but sometimes a Caesarean section (C-section) becomes the safest option for both mother and baby.

In this carousel, we discuss common reasons why a C-section may be recommended, including:
✅ Abnormal baby position (breech or transverse lie)
✅ Prolonged or obstructed labour
✅ Placenta praevia and placental abruption
✅ Previous Caesarean section
✅ Twins and multiple pregnancies
✅ Certain maternal health conditions
✅ Large baby (macrosomia)
✅ Umbilical cord complications

Remember: A Caesarean delivery is not a failure. The goal is always a healthy mother, a healthy baby, and a safe delivery.

💬 Were you delivered by C-section, or have you had a Caesarean delivery? Share your experience in the comments.
