Stop doing this if your lower back hurts! đźš«
Arching your lower back doesn't give you more range of motion, it just compresses your spine.

Save this to protect your spine.

The jaw-pelvis connection is one of the most overlooked links in movement and tension release.
Through deep fascial lines (specifically the Deep Front Line), tension in your masseter and temporalis muscles directly mirrors tension in your pelvic floor. If you're trying to release hip tightness or pelvic floor dysfunction without addressing facial tension, you're missing half the equation.
Try this quick nervous system reset:
Separate your top and bottom teeth.
Let your tongue rest gently on the floor of your mouth.
Exhale with an audible sigh.
Notice how your lower body responds when your face finally lets go.
Share this with someone who deals with tight hips or TMJ.

Are you treating hip and pelvic tightness in the wrong place?
When we strain, stress, or lift heavy, our natural reflex is to bite down hard. But because of deep fascial continuity between the jaw (TMJ) and the pelvic diaphragm, a clenched jaw creates an overactive, tight pelvic floor.

If you’ve been doing stretches for hip mobility or pelvic tightness with zero relief, start at your face.

Unclench your jaw. Release your hips.
Drop a comment if you noticed your jaw was clenched when you watched this

You don’t have to suffer in silence anymore. We are back and ready to help women move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love through evidence-based Women’s Health Physiotherapy.

Your pain has a story. Let’s find the root and treat it safely.

If you STRAIN on the TOILET, you are doing more DAMAGE than you KNOW.

Straining on the toilet is one of the most significant risk factors
for pelvic floor dysfunction and it is almost never discussed.

When you strain, you generate high downward pressure through the abdomen. That pressure pushes on the pelvic floor, the bladder, the uterus, and the re**um.

Repeated over years, this downward force stretches the pelvic floor ligaments and muscles, weakening the support structures of the pelvic organs.

A HEALTHY BOWEL MOVEMENT requires minimal EFFORT.
If yours does not, the problem is usually POSITION, HYDRATION, FIBRE and HABIT..........
Get a small footstool (about 20–25cm) and place it under your feet on the toilet.
This raises your KNEES above your HIPS, changes the ANORECTAL ANGLE,
and allows the PUBORECTALIS MUSCLE to fully relax.

Lean slightly forward. Let your belly be soft.
Breathe out slowly. Do not hold your breath.
Let the movement happen, do not force it.

3 Major Signs Your PELVIC FLOOR Needs Attention

Crossing your legs when you sneeze isn't the fix. It's a compensation.

Your diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor should automatically manage that pressure. If they don't, your pressure system may need retraining, not just more Kegels.

Comment "SNEEZE" if you've caught yourself doing this.
