July in Review... 💙

This month, we had the privilege of reaching children, partnering with schools and reminding families that preventive healthcare is one of the greatest gifts we can give a child.

Every school visited...
Every child screened...
Every conversation held...
Every health lesson shared...
..reinforced one simple truth: healthy children learn better.

We're grateful to God, our partner schools and every parent who has trusted Nosbora so far.

August is here, and we're excited to help even more schools prepare children for a healthier and more successful school year through the Well Child Preventive Health Programme.

If you'd like your school to be part of this journey, we'd love to hear from you.

Dear Parents,

We hope the holidays are bringing lots of laughter, adventure and unforgettable memories with your little ones.

As they spend more time playing outdoors, running around and exploring, here's one gentle reminder from us: don't wait until they're thirsty before offering them water.

Every healthy garden has one thing in common; it is watered consistently. Our children are no different.

This holiday, make water their first drink. Give them their own water bottle. Build little water breaks into their day. These simple habits go a long way in keeping them active, healthy and happy.

At Nosbora, we believe healthy children don't happen by accident. They are intentionally nurtured; one healthy habit at a time.

Have a beautiful and healthy holiday with your little bundles of joy. 💙

The school term may have ended, but a child's health doesn't take a holiday.

The holidays bring more outdoor play, children's camps, church programmes, family visits, and community events. While these moments create beautiful memories, they also require intentional attention to children's health and safety.

This season, remember to: • Keep children well hydrated. • Encourage good hygiene. • Ensure they sleep under treated mosquito nets. • Supervise outdoor and water activities. • Don't ignore unusual symptoms. • Make routine health checks a priority.

At Nosbora, our Well Child Preventive Health Programme brings health education and routine health screening closer to where children learn, play, and grow.

If you're organising a children's programme, holiday camp, church event, school activity, or community gathering, we'd love to partner with you to help keep every child safe and healthy.

Send us a message to learn how we can support your next children's programme.

Have a healthy and safe holiday.

You don't need a large pool of water for mosquitoes to breed.

A small amount of stagnant water collected in buckets, old tyres, flower pots, bottle caps, cans, or blocked drains can provide the perfect breeding ground.

As you prepare for the weekend, take a few minutes to inspect your surroundings. Empty or remove anything that can collect stagnant water. It is one of the simplest and most effective ways to reduce the risk of malaria.

Small actions today can help protect your family tomorrow.

Would you like Nosbora to bring preventive health education and screening to your school, church, or children's community? We're just a DM away.

Have a healthy and safe weekend!

The best time to fight disease is before it starts.

One of the most effective ways to do this is through routine health checks.

Regular health screening helps parents and guardians:

• Detect health concerns early. Growth delays, nutritional deficiencies, vision problems, anaemia, malaria, and other conditions may not show obvious signs in their early stages.

• Monitor healthy growth. Tracking a child's height, weight, and BMI helps ensure they are developing appropriately for their age.

• Prevent complications. Early detection allows for timely intervention before health concerns affect learning, energy levels, or overall wellbeing.

• Support better learning. Healthy children are more likely to concentrate, participate actively, and perform well in school.

At Nosbora International, we believe prevention is one of the greatest gifts we can give every child because healthier children build healthier communities.

Start with prevention. Give your child the best chance to thrive.

The rainy season has created the perfect conditions for mosquitoes to thrive, increasing the risk of malaria for children and adults alike.

The good news? This is one battle your family can prepare for.

Here's how to stay protected:

✔ Sleep under an insecticide-treated mosquito net every night.

✔ Eliminate stagnant water around your home by emptying containers, clearing blocked drains and properly disposing of items that collect rainwater.

✔ Encourage children to wear long sleeves and long trousers during peak mosquito hours whenever possible.

✔ Install window and door screens to help keep mosquitoes out.

✔ Use mosquito repellents safely and according to the manufacturer's instructions.

✔ Don't assume every fever is malaria. Visit a healthcare facility for proper evaluation and testing.

✔ Keep your surroundings clean. A clean environment helps reduce mosquito breeding.

Every simple preventive step makes a difference.

Don't let your home become the battlefield. Choose prevention.
