PRACTICAL WEEK REPORT – DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS
Today marked the successful commencement of our Practical Week, and it was indeed a productive and impactful session. We ensured proper organization, attendance, and orientation of all students, with emphasis on safety precautions, discipline, and active participation.
The practical session focused on essential clinical skills, including:
a. Hemoglobin estimation
b. Packed Cell Volume (PCV) test
c. Ear flushing procedure
d. Ear Dressing
e. Removal of foreign body in the Ear
f. Use of ENT diagnostic set and Otoscopy
g. Administration of Intramuscular (IM) and Intravenous (IV) injections
Students actively participated under proper supervision, demonstrating eagerness to learn and improve their hands-on skills. The session was well-coordinated, and all activities were carried out successfully.
Overall, Day 1 was a great start, laying a solid foundation for the remaining days of the practical week. We look forward to more engaging and educative sessions ahead.
