Have you ever heard about the lobster’s analogy? 🦞⁠

Story goes that the lobster’s shell is hard and can’t expand. As the lobster grows, the shell gets tighter and more constricting and the lobster feels uncomfortable. When that becomes unbearable, the lobster goes under a safe rock, sheds its shell, and grows a new one that fits better. ✔️⁠

Eventually, this process repeats several times. The key to its growth is that feeling of discomfort, which allows the lobster to change and reach a turning point. 💡⁠

The same applies to us. Our growth is a constant journey. It is not about achieving perfection, but rather, making little steps out of our comfort zone to focus on what makes us feel happier and live our life better. 👣⁠

How come we find it so hard to stick to a routine, even when it is a good and healthy one? 👀

We all know the infinite benefits of mindful meditation...yet for many of us, it can be difficult to turn it into a habit. The initial excitement and motivation fade, and at some point, we fall back into “old” patterns. Even with the best intentions. 🙌

Practising a mindfulness routine allows us to be aware of the present moment without judgements and is less demanding than what you might think. 🧘

Always believe that you can make a change for the better. ☀️

The way you respond to what is around you will determine a great part of how you live your life.

How to do so? Try to stay grateful by practising meditation or keeping a journal and challenge your negative thoughts when they show up in your mind. Sit with them and think of two positive counterarguments to these thoughts. 💭

A positive mindset can turn even an unpleasant experience into an opportunity to grow and learn. Remember to feed your mind with positive thoughts and kindness - positive outcomes will follow 💚

Have you ever caught yourself contemplating your neighbour’s yard, wishing it was yours? 🌱

Well, it happens to all of us now and then. Comparing ourselves to others is a very natural human tendency and helps us find better answers to the timeless question about who we are.🪞

Like everything else, this too has its pros and cons. If on one side comparison could be beneficial for our inspiration and personal growth, on the other it could affect our self-esteem and motivation, leaving us feeling not so great about ourselves. 🌧
