October is a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health. 🤍🧠
Sometimes what feels like life falling apart is actually life making room. Sometimes the rejection is redirection. Sometimes the loss teaches you your worth. And sometimes the very thing you thought would break you becomes the reason you discover just how powerful you really are.
The amount of times I have thought to myself, “how do I get myself out of this hole” is crazy. Moving to a new country never becomes easier when it comes to those moments you are alone and crave the comfort of someone you love. But remembering that this is a huge adjustment even 2 years down the line is something I have to give myself credit for. The amount of times I have had to rebuild and remind myself of who I am would make you wonder why the hell I still try. But the future brings me hope… and I want to be able to give that to myself one day. The “you did it” will taste so much sweeter.
With it being mental health awareness month I want people to be encouraged to know you never truly are alone. And I am so GRATEFUL for the people who seem to come into my life and provide a light for me when the world has gone dark around me.
Relying on those around you is something brave. Give yourself grace. And move forward knowing you are worth every single bit of happiness.
So when your world feels dark…. Know that you can always reach out and I will share that small bit of life I have for you too☺️
