T-10 weeks to Amsterdam half marathon which is my 'A' race for the this fall. A rollercoaster week:
- after months of uncertainty last minute landing a support interesting job at my company🥳(and yeah positive news you need to process...)
-competed IRONMAN Triathlon IM U recertification,
-throwback to my last Hungarian full distance relay 8yrs ago,
-Swimming Masters World champs from 2017 which is my ultimate goal for 2027,
-of course we also watched eclipse,
-went to the lake 5x for swim, sailing, playing with kids- last warm summee week here in NL...

3 weeks of vacation, from which 2 weeks at lake Balaton. For sure it was no training camp with 2 little kids but what I could do next to collecting thousands of memories were daily (30-45mins) trainings. Frequency is back, has to build further!

My first race as a mom of 2, it was fantastic to be excited again, prepare how much time and broken nights allowed meand and to be exhausted from a sport performance. Thanks for my hubby as always for support (and our baby sitter as we decided to leave the kids at home this time).
Swim and cycling went realistic at my current level, running I did adjust as I could not cope better with the heat- all in all happy, tired and cannot wait to work more to get stronger again!
Congrats for all finishers this weekend, epic Dutch tri weekend again!

Race week! My only triathlon in 2026...with lots of ups and downs with a baby and a toddler. Feels great though!
I have a full blog post in my head let's see when I can put it 'on paper' :)
Hubby asked me if it was worth to undust the TT bike from the tacx and prepare it for the weekend for a 40k race. Without a question, I was smiling today at my last brick (which was my 2nd altogether...). I did not take the time to change for race wheels, I am not going for time or medals, only to feel to be an athlete again, challenge myself and enjoy the day 🙂

Historically one of my favourite running shoes: New Balance 1080 (quite is my best marathon time will remain 3:59 which I ran in a 1080:) ). This year already 15th version with new foam (Infinion) for midsole cushioning, 2mm extra stack heigth as well. My long runs are not super long yet (just an hour) but this pair keep providing me good cushioning, great fit and also nice breathability. Happy to work as a New Balance ambassador this year as well.

Bit late lookback but that was April, challenging (next to nice moments of kids, date nights, some training hours as on the photos...)...series of smaller sickness in our family, grandma brought to an elderly home and going to a late phase in her life...some really bad news from friends&family🙏
Hope May comes with more sunshine in our hearts.
Purely on sport perspective I am not there where I wanted but trying to do sports to keep healthy and hopefully May will be a few steps forward on my sport journey again.

Volunteer day at Hyrox Rotterdam. I am not fit enough to take part yet so I went to do some volunteer work.
I felt the vibe. Saw 100s of people. Was a bit envy of the parent-kid duos and I really hope to do it one day at any sports...
Great that this sport is bringing many people in gyms/start running/keep fit. Do I think that so much make up is needed at sport events? No. The 'hyrox makeup' is maybe a market gap still...Most funny interaction? (At least on my side not for athlete). Someone was looking for pre-workout and I sent her to warm-up area. It turned out later that she wanted to buy pre-workout product. Eat your banana (as many other people did as well😆). Most happy note that my son has recovered from a brief but quite bad sicknees so double happy I could check out this race🙏
