🙏⚽️🧘 On football and spirituality
Not a match (pun intended), you´re thinking?
You can find wisdom and see spiritual principles in everything -the divine is everywhere.
Normally, football doesn´t interest me, but these last couple of weeks it is difficult not to get gravitated in to the energy of the Norwegian team Fotballandslaget, Erling Haaland (hard to miss in the media) and fans in the World Cup.💫
💥I can see lots of wisdom here:
⚽️💪 Take care of your human -it´s your temple. Also, develop your talents and skills, and be ready to serve.
Haaland takes care of himself, emphasizing sleep, an intentional diet, and physical exercise and developing his talents and skills, of course.
⚽️🧘 Meditate, meditate, meditate. It reminds you of who you truly are, the divine being, and raises your consciousness.
Haaland meditates -and even celebrates goals in a meditation pose.
(Also; «Ro!» -the famous Norwegian fan chant means row, but the word also means calm, quiet, or peace -which is one of the benefits of meditation).
⚽️🫶 Be humble. That doesn´t mean to make yourself small. Instead, live from your spiritual heart, not the ego. From there you can be receptive and align with life.
Haaland has infamously said stay humble. He also seems to be humble himself (without self-suppressing), praising other players, treating people (teammates, mascots, kit man) with respect.
⚽️💖 Don´t let other´s opinions shape you. Caring what others think is a symptom of ego, separation, survival mode, and being out of alignment with your true self. Instead focus on you and your spiritual journey.
Haaland has famously stated, "I can't control what people say about me... I don't care about what people say".
⚽️🌬️ Don´t react to triggers. Often we react automatically, according to patterns when facing triggers. Instead pause, be aware, see what there is to learn, and respond from there.
Haaland is often man-marked on the field, opposing defenders hassling and physically attacking him. Mostly he looks unfazed and unprovoked by this, focusing on his tasks.
⚽️🦸♀️Be a spiritual warrior, be ready and willing, surrender.
Haaland, «the Viking warrior», is ready, willing and able to score whenever the ball finds him.
⚽️🧙With skill, awareness in the moment, focus, attunement, alignment, raised consciousness it is possible to see with clarity and move beyond -and change- the natural laws of the space.
Haaland seems almost to do this with some of his goals; where there is no opening, he defines one, -and scores.
⚽️🔗Connectedness, oneness is our true nature.
Many have pointed to the collective fellowship and unity as some of the success of the Norwegian team. -And the same can be said for the fans! Everyone everywhere is rowing in unison. This has brought the Norwegian (by blood, by location, and by heart) people together!
⚽️😄Don´t take life too seriously. Enjoy, play, smile, celebrate, laugh, have fun!
Haaland seems to be doing this both on and off the field. And so do the Norwegian fans! They are enjoying this time to the fullest, celebrating (even when we lost to France) -all joyful.
