🍼 A few moments from our Breastfeeding Awareness Act! 🤍

On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, we came together to spread awareness through a fun and engaging 2-day awareness act. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to our collaborators and supporters — Department of Community Medicine, HappyHealth 2081, and Chimalaya Charity Nepal — for helping us make this initiative possible.

Special thanks to Chimalaya Charity Nepal, Madhyapur Thimi and Siddhi Memorial Hospital, Bhaktapur for providing us with the platform to conduct the act. 🫶

And of course, thank you to all our participants and volunteers for making it happen!

On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College in collaboration successfully conducted an Awarness session on BREASTFEEDING in PNC Ward at KMCTH.
The session aimed to empower new mothers with accurate knowledge and practical guidance on breastfeeding, emphasizing its vital role in ensuring the health, growth, and development of newborns while promoting maternal well-being.✨

Today’s health camp was never just about checking blood pressure or blood sugar. It was about reaching people before illness does. It was about listening, educating, reassuring, and reminding every individual that their health matters.

What made this day truly unforgettable wasn’t the number of screenings we conducted-it was the overwhelming positivity we received. The genuine smiles from our little brothers and sisters, the heartfelt appreciation from patients and their families, and the encouraging words from the members of Sankata Club reminded us that service creates connections that no statistics can measure.

Healthcare begins long before the hospital—it begins with awareness, compassion, and people who are willing to serve without expecting anything in return.

Today strengthened our belief that every conversation can inspire change, every screening can prevent suffering, and every act of kindness can leave a lasting impact.

This wasn’t just a successful health camp.
It was another step toward building a healthier, stronger, and more connected community.

Because the greatest medicine we can offer is not always found in prescriptions-
