Mental Health Awareness, Nepal Mental Health WHO defines health as "a state of complete physical, MENTAL and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity".

But unfortunately, in many countries, especially in the context of developing countries like that of Nepal, Mental health is a much neglected issue. Furthermore, to add insult to injury, stigma attached with mental health is rampant both in urban and rural population. This has led to huge and resistant barrier in health seeking behavior of mentally ill patients and family members concerned in reac

hing out to health care professional. With an aim of changing peoples' perspective, knowledge, practice regarding mental health problems and thereby ultimately helping in bringing change in people attitude toward current mental health scenario, this page is an attempt to raise public awareness regarding mental health.
