Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific areas of the paws, ears and face that are believed to correspond with different systems of the body.

Potential Benefits for Dogs:

๐Ÿพ Promotes Deep Relaxation
* Helps calm the nervous system
* May reduce stress and anxiety
* Can be particularly beneficial for nervous, rescue, or aging dogs

๐ŸพMay Improve Circulation
* Gentle stimulation of the paws can encourage blood flow
* Improved circulation supports the delivery of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body

๐Ÿพ Can Help Ease Muscle Tension
* Many dogs carry tension in their muscles, especially after injury, illness, or periods of stress
* Reflexology may help release physical tension and improve comfort

๐Ÿพ Supports Mobility in Senior Dogs
* Older dogs often enjoy the calming touch and relaxation reflexology provides.
* It may help them feel more comfortable and move more freely.

๐Ÿพ Strengthens the Human-Animal Bond
* The focused, nurturing touch involved in reflexology can deepen trust and connection between dogs and their caregivers.

Our greatest teachers have never spoken a word.

People often assume that working with animals is completely different from working with people.

In many ways it's remarkably similar.

Animals don't analyse healing.
They don't question whether they're worthy of it.
They don't pretend they're fine when they're not.

They simply respond to feeling safe, supported, and understood.

Whether I'm working with an animal or a person, my first priority isn't fixing. It's creating a space where the nervous system can settle.

Through gentle therapies like Reiki, craniosacral therapy and reflexology, I support the body's natural ability to restore balance.

I've learned that healing begins with presence, trust, and listeningโ€”not forcing.

When the body feels safe, change often follows naturally. I've seen this in anxious dogs and stressed pet owners.

Animals remind us of something we've forgotten.
Our bodies carry an incredible intelligence.
When we slow down and listen instead of constantly pushing through, healing has room to unfold.

If you're curious about a gentle, whole-person approach to healing for your canine companion feel free to check out my holistic therapies book or organise an online consultation.

Fantastic news! Taking time off work to care for a sick pet is now officially recognised in Italy.

Employees are entitled to up to three days of paid leave each year when their companion animal requires urgent veterinary care.

While modest, this change reflects the growing importance many people place on the health and wellbeing of their pets.

The new provision follows years of evolving legal protections and changing social attitudes.

Across Italy, pets are increasingly regarded as cherished family members and valued companions, rather than simply animals, highlighting the deep bond people share with them.
